Since USDJPY stll looks unstoppable, in case of brake above 155,50, there are no way to sell it before 176 or even 178. Maybe just a pause around 165

USDJPY price action on the daily time frame went sideways as it approaches the 155.00 area. Technically, as indicated in the long-tailed doji-like candlestick printed on Friday, bulls are still favoured to regain market influence at least on a short-term basis. Besides, the preceding technical impulse is bullish.

I may be wrong. Trade safe and prosper.

i mean this weekly chart looks very cup and handlish. Even has the small resistance at the top.

Now I did say that I thought we would have some consolidation at these levels and perhaps that is what we have now. But for now the previous highs are being looked at as support by me and mine.

Ok things very critical with USDJPY hanging about 155.000 for quite some time. Price action is tilting towards curve Short down making a nice slow curve towards a potential tough down move. Here is what is my setup. Its not a signal so you can do your due diligence

I have some solid orders in between some of them already taken with a tight sl at 155.045

Alright setup is top one I would say how it pans out let's see as the market unfolds but a blast is for sure

They have to intervene today or the effect will be less on monday and next week. But even a move of 500 pips would make no long uncomfortable due to interest rates (about 600 pips per year currently).

If things continue like this, I almost feel like they'll have to intervene. The Yen is down about 4% against a handful of currency pairs just over the past week, not to mention being down nearly 30% against all the majors over the past year. This obviously can't continue at this pace for too much longer or the Yen will soon be toilet paper.
