Someone help, please, because I'm really struggling with the conflicting data lately.

I barely made it out alive today . I guess they really wanted to close the Facebook gap. Didn't make sense to me with the fundamentals, but maybe I missed something.

Also the core PCE q/q was released today, apparently?! Current:3.7% vs. prev: 2.0%. Didn't even show up on FF's calendar. I find that odd.

And now after the bell Microsoft and Google just beat earnings estimates.

So those are my two conflicting points. Signs of stubborn inflation, but also strong earnings from 2 of the biggest corporations on this planet. And we all know the NQ is tech-heavy. Is it just bouncing or could the pullback be over?

What was published today was the 1st reading of the Core PCE prices for the 1st quarter of the year, this data was already known so it has no impact on the market.

The PCE you are referring to (the Fed's preferred gauge for monetary policy decisions) will be released tomorrow.

Closed 75% of the position (short, loss) - yen will go up to the moon - although it is already run 1000 pips. 500 pips more is possible. Damn.

Omg... that happens once in 5 years on statistical avg. Don't touch that thing currently. -Except you are long since 151 than go fo it and buy more. Always keep distance of 500 pips to current price and you are save due to intervention. I'm a bit pissed that I'm not on the boat this time long. Would be nice carry trade-every day. Next line in the sand for me is 160 but that is only because it is a round number and in general after 1400 pips move there is comimg a retrace - latest.

In my case on Gold I win some $ with the ranging channel and I am also in long with some green pips above the channel.
On EUR/USD the result is: Market Makers - MihIsti 1-0. But the second leg is comming.

So on the DXY if the pattern completion will continue we will see a drop on xxx/USD pairs. This is OK.
But because this is a reversal pattern on USD index, after completion do you anticipate that Mtako will be here again?

You are learning fast and making money in the process.
That is exactly how I see it.
DXY, AB=CD completion will put EU sub 1.06 and then we can reach all bear targets for a healthy and prolonged bounce after.
Gold: you know your target and turn the horse point?
