money makers are anticipating a rate hikes or no rate cuts from FOMC meeting so they are buying usd against yen and because also of anticipation of Rate cuts alot of persons are entering sell so liquidity is being hunted

I used to think the same thing, but your statement somewhat betrays you. Seasoned traders know that trading will mean that your money will come in ebbs and flows if you are doing it right. So to supplement that, and the loneliness, some teach. Teaching supplies a steady income, and allows one to relax and trade effectively. For some of us that takes the form of a day job. The few who are living exclusively off of trading have accounts in the millions IMO, so that even the smallest move makes a nice amount..
Don't compare your trades to others. Most often the masses are the asses

UJ on higher time frames looking a lot like a cup and handle. If we break above and hold the target is the length of the cup. However if it fails 146 is the short term target. If it holds will buy on the retest of the highs. Otherwise on the retest of lows. My FOMC indicator seems to be pointing south though, so a possible look above and fail scenario is also possible.

im living exclusively off trading cos i didnt manage to secure a job. I do not have millions in my account....

As I said before there's a bearish wedge on the weekly chart and price was banging against the upper boundary...

Lower rates here and higher rates in Japan are bad for USD/JPY.....Basic economics... Glad I went short last night.

I'd be betting on a retest of 141.50 and I'd be watching 148.50, and 146 along the way.

I wont close my current position I'll add to it on a bounce.

When I'm up a few hundred pips I'll play with the houses money.

BoJ Seen Weighing Next Rate Hike in July or October as Yen Weakens - Nikkei

Even though the news pushed JPY higher for the moment currencies already almost recovered the whole drop... if Japan thought that this news would provide more effect they were wrong it seems, which means we should expect the news from Japan very soon again.
