)Robert Plant here, with a newer band from way back in 2010.
They closed out their AVO Sessions in Basel with an old gospel style tune,
The composer is listed as “Traditional”, which usually means the original author is lost to antiquity with no currently aligned composer.
Someone must have penned it of course, and/or it maybe was adulterated over time into its now current format, who knows.
I have a great version also of this song with the Grateful Dead doing it, again as their closing anthem from way back.
But this one, well I taped the whole Robert Plant Avo Session many years ago when it was shown on Aus TV on Foxtel, so I remember it well.
(Buddy Miller on stage left is a well known lead guitarist & was also the Musical Director on the TV Series Nashville from a few years back,
while the gal on stage right is the delightful artist and singing angel Patty Griffin
.Just enjoy our music is best imho.

Fantastic find, I hadn't heard this song before (and have now downloaded it immediately hahaaa to my desktop for future playing in between some trading
).Patty has the voice of an angel. She & Robert dated for a while during this period I believe but it lasted not.

"Wanted", Season Two was great YES. Season Three (NO spoiler tho lol) started slower but grew brilliantly imo as well to the end. Enjoy.
