PM on number of trades per day.

For my personal account, it is usually 0-2 positions a day. prop firm account is 1-4 trades per week (trading at higher timeframe)

One good trade will make the day. There are multiple TMS setups everyday, I just pick those and trade when I have time.

My risk is <1% per trade with SL at previous high/low

2 trades yesterday and 1 trade earlier today.

Price can stop trending and consolidate as we saw today, but it is not necessary a reversal to downtrend.

You either stay sideline or keep buying from previous lows

Reading the OP' posts in Forex Factory can stimulate the mind and gave me a lot of trading ideas when I am developing new systems.

Before I retired, I thought it I would have more time every day to day trade sitting in front of my trading computer. Now after 15 years, I was wrong. I dont need to sit in front of my trading computer for longer than just one hour a day.

Semi-automated trading is the way to go. It is the same as "set-and-go" , you run your semi-auto EA trading and let it run on its own.

At the end of the week, spend just 10-minutes for each of the 28 trading pairs and review the Markey Type and update the Big Picture.

Once you know the pairs' Big Picture and Market Type, you make your trade plan for the following week. You do not need to sit in front of your trading computer or stare into you small mobile screen looking for trades.

The market will open every Sunday at EST 5pm , your expert advisor will look for trades on its own. You only have to peek at your trading platform once every 4 hours and check your trades progress. You can focus on doing your day job and avoid being fired by your boss.

Diversification is a good way to make some money with your trading capital and generate additional income and cash flow to supplement your day job.


GU Week04 Jan 23

- Daily is choppy market conditions, great to trade-both-ways now. When it decides to trend in one direction, we follow with the trending Market Type strategy.

- trades are independent of the chart timeframes, no need for indicators signals, no need to chart analysis looking for trade setups.

- We trade the Market Types ,
I is for Trending market,
II is for Sideways Wide Range,
III is for Sideways Narrow Range,

- Once you know the Market Type I, II or III, you can trade and make some extra money.

- know your amount of money risk and let the EA run, cut-loss when it is time to do so.

People think the JPY would weaken in the 08’ are finally right after 5 years.

Timing is the factor to determine if your trades are profitable. (“TDI is heart of method”)

I was with you on XXXUSD pairs going weak. I sold GBPUSD yesterday too.

We are in the TMS thread, and I just shared that with TMS rules, when you shared a “sell opportunity”, it was a TMS buy setup.

The TMS sell setup is 6 hours later and 17 hours to revisit 0.6568.

you sure spend a lot of your day job working time just for 3 trades.

there are lots of setups like 3 to 6 setups every day like the OP said in his post #7555 and you can make $500 to $1000 with a USD10,000 account.

You are all over the place jumping from 1-minute timeframe to 5-minute timeframe to 15-minute timeframe and to 1Hr timeframe looking for TDI signals. After-The-Fact chart analysis is always perfect that is why hingsight is 20:20.

Keep It Simple, follow the OP' post#281 and look at the 4Hr for trades....

Of course you want to continue in your belief "TDI is the heart of the method" ... that's okay all the people here started with that same belief in their first 3 years and they all faded away.

Look at @stevepatt. He started with Big E back in 2009 and now he trading without the TDI exactly the way Big E had said in his posts ... you can trade without the TDI for higher success

Yes, there was an 'update' to TMS EVO. It was then simply TMS_EVO_2.0" and I traded that as my system strategy from Oct 2020 to 2021,2022/2023 covering a full 3 years trading cycle.

"Updates" to TMS_EVO
- TMS_EVO_2.0 included US market indices, US30, S&P500 and NASDAQ in addition to the forex pairs
- Trading timeframe mainly 4Hr chart with full view to the Daily and Weekly Price Action and Average Price candles,

Hi TMS hater,

Exactly the opposite. I would say I probably spent less time analysing the chart than typing this reply, probably 10-15 seconds

As I have mentioned, I trade with my phone when I work and travel. Setting up alerts is good to reduce chart time by a lot.

As BigE mentioned, there are 3-6 TMS setups everyday on each pair.
I only need one to two to make my day. The rest of the time I can do something else.

BigE’s TMS method uses TDI signals as trade timing and price action to confirm direction and area to trade.

One way to start is to wait for trend to confirm using previous highs and lows. Then enter trades in direction of trend upon TDI signals

TMS trades are mostly in profit when in position, giving traders more flexibility in managing them.

Your hindsight TMS analysis always look perfect ... yet you missed the Basic forex trading stuff mentioned in post #647 ... the Price Action, Support & Resistance, the big candles, small candles, the reversal setups with Stoch(8,3,3) with %K cross %D signals, etc. post#261

But you did not learn anything in your last three 3 years and that is so obvious in your 3 years past performance.

You need to spedn the next 2 to 3 years and learn to read the candles on your charts and see what the candles are yelling at you.
