trend recognition systems like this appeal to me..... trying to piece it together as i go..... did not have time before..... do now......
from post 1......
we also can see at a glance whether price is above or below SMA200 thanks to the multi-timeframe dashboard in the bottom right corner. Green means price is above, red means below.
Next we have a channel created by using the High and Low of EMA8. We pay attention to two things with the channel. Where price is in relation to it and where the channel is in relation to SMA200.
that would be 3 separate things.... in the chart below, top left the little floweredy outfits denote each on 1 thru daily.....
top row is current price relation to the 200 sma..... 2 colors.....
timeframes next.....
third row is channels relation to the 200 sma.... 3 colors this time..... yellow represents the 200 falling within in the channel.....
fourth row is the price relation to the channel...... again 3 colors..... yellow if current price is within the channel.....

The Daily Open Line is also on the chart.
There is also the projected ADR High and Low lines on the chart. These are dynamic and will change throughout the day until they become 'locked'.
We also have a composite RSI figure on screen.
next follows the rsi value...... which is a rather complex formula..... i used the math found in that indicator in the first post.....
then the daily adr value, as opposed to the atr..... laura mentions adr specifically.....
on the chart itself is the channel and 200 sma......
the horizontal blue line marks the open.....
the lime and red lines extending to the right from the open are the daily adr values applied to the daily open...... she mentions those lines being 'dynamic'.... really not sure what that means or is supposed to represent...... until i figure that aspect out, mine are set in place.....
the yellow dashed lines are 50% of those values.... just my reference.....
she mentions ideas here and in her just a journal......
a single indicator is doing all the above...... along with alerts for certain condition triggers she mentions..... there is no way i can stare at charts.....

one thing comes to mind..... when using single row dashboards like here, they are great for now or perhaps a few bars from now.....
but when visually looking back at trade possibilities or trades taken several days or weeks ago, now means nothing...... in those cases you would need the single rows converted into mtf fashion indicators..... so you could see the price/channel/200sma relationship on each timeframe was then......
will do that shortly as example......

here is an example of the mtf version of the price / 200 relation...... it does not include the minute tf.....
we can clearly see nows price/200 relation in the single row dashboard...... that is very useful, at least to me.......
but what if there was a need to look back at september...... todays means little......
in mtf fashion we can clearly see on those timeframes every bars standing on any prior date providing you have the required data......

Keep Roadmap simple with a few pre drawn levels. But each to their own since we all have our own flavours of "Roadmap"
