DislikedFrom a layman perspective, the5ers looks solid, and the facts that they are an old player in the industry. But why not so many people flocks to buy their programs? What's avoiding them?Ignored
Disliked{quote} so they should risk $4000 on you and make $0 themselves and you get 100% of the rewards up to $100K ! ? Apteros is not a charity , my friend 100% first payout is a trick to encourage you to trade prudently and not give back too much of your profits to the markets so it lowers the risk that the $4000 drawdown gets hit and Apteros loses money on you.. I am 67 years old and have been a futures prop trader in my younger years , I have no affiliation with Apteros but from the remote options I have seen they are the number 1 IMHO the better...Ignored
Disliked{quote} I would also throw TFF in there w/ <10K payouts 400K FTMO + 200K TFF + 100K 5%ers.... everyone else = gambling moneyIgnored
Disliked{quote} It's not just fees vs DD but that's the starting point (and disqualifies any further analysis if it's low)Ignored
Disliked{quote} so anyone trading on a phone that switches IP or a mobile hotspot that has to be reset and assigned a new IP would be in violation during hours of trading... WTFIgnored

Disliked{quote} limiting every mt4 instance max bars to 1000-3000 seems to give the biggest performance increase for me. I was able to run 8 mt4s on a 15 year old Intel Celeron with 8gb with no problem lolIgnored
DislikedJust to clarify, props with trailing stop need a completely different approach. We are not just trading but also gaming their rules. The right way to approach them is to have high risk bets and withdraw all when succeeding (causing the account to be violated because we hit the trailed stop). Doing this once, twice, three times will lead people to be banned. Not doing this means that trailing stop will trail until the starting point. From that moment people are only trading their own profits but not getting 100% of that.Ignored

Disliked{quote} 60% profit split, 4000*60%=2400 '$500 montly fees ( apteros does NOT make money on those )' Seriously? For 100K account with only 4k total drawdown, you have to trade very small (max 2 futures contracts, I suggest only 1 contract), how much would you save on commissions per month? You need to earn 250% to pass the challenge(10K target versus 4k drawdown). How long would it take for you to earn 250%? One year? Then you need to pay 500*12=6000$. And with all the effort, time and 6000$, you finally get a drawdown of 2400$. This...Ignored
Disliked{quote} Since you are working for or connected to Apteros, I suggest you better go somewhere else to promote Apteros, because many intelligent people are in this thread. 100% first payout is a trick to prevent traders from withdrawing profits. If Apteros really cares about traders, the rule should be traders can withdraw 100% up to $100,000, no matter how many payouts.Ignored

Disliked{quote} Right, trick here is, if you want 100%, you MUST wait until your profits are 100K? I haven't checked, but if that is what you are saying here, yes , they are looking for the very naive and inexperienced.Ignored
Disliked{quote} In light of everything going on the past month, he is absolutely correct, from a long standing, reputable, professional standpoint, any other firm is lighting your money on fire at this point. Taki has been in this industry probably longer than some her have been alive. Knows how brokers work inside and out and has been a consultant to atleast 1 of these prop firms. Like him or not, the guy 100% knows his shit. As traders, sometimes we have to pivot, I couldn't stand the 5%ers offers, when they came out with High Stakes program, a program...Ignored
Disliked{quote} Robbery in disguise. A good "regulator" would "protect" us from that sort of stuff, you would think? Instead, they went after the firm with the best (by far) chance of success for the trader. Going back to value, and yes, it absolutely does matter, MFF is more than 2x value of FTMO on a 200K. Factoring in fee paid, targets in both phases and profit split......on a 200K account, MFF gave you $9.23 for every dollar in a personal account, FTMO is $4.53. The 5%ers high stakes 100K is $5.99. FTMO and 5%ers still offer great value, but MFF was...Ignored
