you forget that based on good risk/reward figures , they scale you up , in a few months you could be trading 10 to 20 contracts

dont compare the requirements of REAL prop firms with VIRTUAL one’s …..the first ones want you to succeed , the other ones ….

Since you are working for or connected to Apteros, I suggest you better go somewhere else to promote Apteros, because many intelligent people are in this thread.

100% first payout is a trick to prevent traders from withdrawing profits. If Apteros really cares about traders, the rule should be traders can withdraw 100% up to $100,000, no matter how many payouts.

Regardless of the 100% payout bonus on your first payout, this is still a very, very bad offer. Never consider joining them. There is no value.

so they should risk $4000 on you and make $0 themselves and you get 100% of the rewards up to $100K ! ? Apteros is not a charity , my friend

100% first payout is a trick to encourage you to trade prudently and not give back too much of your profits to the markets so it lowers the risk that the $4000 drawdown gets hit and Apteros loses money on you..

I am 67 years old and have been a futures prop trader in my younger years , I have no affiliation with Apteros but from the remote options I have seen they are the number 1 IMHO

the better your risk/reward figures the quicker they will scale you up and get bigger drawdown limits , the only limit you will encounter is liquidity for your strategy , a scalper will hit that limit faster than a intraday swinger

High stakes is a new program for them, everything else sucked since their inception. They don't do the aggressive influencer promotions & coupon sales like others. They also limit you to 100K max, so those with visions of lambos in their eyes avoid them.

Just to clarify, props with trailing stop need a completely different approach. We are not just trading but also gaming their rules. The right way to approach them is to have high risk bets and withdraw all when succeeding (causing the account to be violated because we hit the trailed stop). Doing this once, twice, three times will lead people to be banned. Not doing this means that trailing stop will trail until the starting point. From that moment people are only trading their own profits but not getting 100% of that.
Correct, however on the futures side getting banned for that kind of behavior seems to be a non issue?!?!?!?
My approach is to nullify the trailing trap > Get the 100% split money > once it gets to a 90/10 split, cash out the remaining DD money and I'm out.

limiting every mt4 instance max bars to 1000-3000 seems to give the biggest performance increase for me. I was able to run 8 mt4s on a 15 year old Intel Celeron with 8gb with no problem lol
