IMO, we see a pullback before Jackson Hole Symposium on XAUUSD. J. Powell will signal that rate hikes are not done yet, while central banks like RBA stick with "pause". In this scenario, Gold should drop after Jackson Hole. I am going short.

You are so good and so experienced, but you have a trading account with less than $300 (less than $200 USD) and risk a few dollars per trade?

I know that there are people on this thread that have a similar account balance in their trading account, but they are new to trading and having an account with any balance shows courage and conviction. Peter, it should be clear to everyone here that if you could make 5%/day, from the time you first claimed to make 5%, then your account balance would be tens of thousands of dollars by now, not less than $300.

I see you are looking at the H2 chart. Well, yes, it is in a down trend. But, it is highly likely that its down trend is now complete and the current swing up from the swing low is most likely the first leg of an up trend on this TF, which will be trying to build a rally on the H8 TF.

So don't be surprised if you see a pullback, not a return down, after this swing goes up about 50% of the prior down swing. Of course, it is where the pullback stops that will show you if it is indeed a pullback or continues into a return down.
