Hi Alain,

Tillman talks about divergences in oscillator at the time of cycle peaking/ bottoming. Have you seen any utility/ practical experience around the same? I am currently observing RoC (rate of change) in Tradingview.

Hi Parisboy,

Many thanks to you and the developer of this FREE but spectacular Hurst envelopes. I just ran the script on tradingview but the result is somewhat confusing as the envelopes are all over the place for some asset class. Do i need to enter different parameters for different instruments? If the answer to that is YES, what are they?

Envelopes settings are very easy to calculate .You calculate the distance between the High of your Chart and the Low of the Chart you divide by 4 the result .
THat is the Amplitude of the Envelope 256 - Centered Moving Average +/- 1/8 of the Price Range (the Gann Octave)

then you divide the 25 6 parameter by 2 for the Amplitude of the Envelope 128 and again by 2 to get the Amplitude of the Envelope 32

This works for most cases whatever the Time Frame and whatever Stocks, commodities ETF, Cryptos etc

When the Envelope is too wide you divide by 2 the 256 parameter, when the Envelope is too narrow you multiply the parameter by 2

I never used . I consider that all that is redundant.

Price change its direction and an "indicator" (name it) tells me "price is changing Direction"

I use CMA's propagation from 16 to 256 (most of the time)
