Can anyone confirm that this chart set-up is all
that is needed for the most recent TEB2?

My understanding of ideal Long entry parameters is:

1) H4 14,3,3 Stoch (set to Low/High) slow and fast lines crossing each other below 20 then rising above 20.
2) H4 5,3,3 same.
3) M30 14,3,3 same.
4) M30 5,3,3 same.
Ideally, in order, 1 thru 4 or all together or all together with the next
alignment of Jupiter and Mars. We may have to wait awhile for that last one!

Other indicators (e.g. MA's, TL's etc.) are discretionary.

What am I missing, my friends?:

P.S. G/U just took off like a rocket upward after all 4 Stochs crossed up
when I took this screenshot (see chart below).
Not from below 20 or in the "right" order though.
Don't you hate it when the market doesn't follow the rules! LOL
if they were under the 50% I would take that trade!!

Hoss,

you must wait until the stoch leaves the 80 or 20 zone and is in an established path before taking a trade.

good luck - patience is definately the key for the perfect setup.

if it crosses through the 50% & back through again I would take the trade
esp. if its the 30 min stochs turning & the 4 hour stochs hold in the trend

Hiya guys, TEB.....

long time no speak....been away, came back and been busy again Not traded much the last couple of weeks. Been working on developing strategies from Vantage Point software.

Anyways, I se you dropped the daily chart and opted for 30 mins and 4hr charts with 2 sets of stochs. It's a good idea, how is it working out so far ?

I will be checking it out, especially since your original system worked very well for me.

Just posting what I think may be a potential set up. 4 hr stochs heading down, and 30 min stochs possibly crossing soon to the downside. Any thoughts?

you might be right but on 30 mins 14,3,3 has already turned again....


look at usdchf as well for confirmation....that will go the opposite direction

I don't think this is a great trade as on the 4hr chart the stochs have been moving in and out of 50 and has not gone to extrems 20 or 80 and turned..your thoughts?

As I said in my previous post, EURUSD and USDCHF move in opposite directions....NEARLY ALWAYS, so if we get a sell setup on one confirmed by a buy setup on the other then....it will happen....but if it's not a complete one I would wait

It's probably not the best trade because of this. But, I did go long on DEMO and will see what happens.

Looks like we may have more confirmations for other trades around 12pm est.

Looks like you were correct. I went long at 1.2001 and was stopped out at 1.9965

And where di EURUSD go ??? Almost pip for pip....it's not a -1.00 correlation but nearly. It's been, for the last few years, between -0.92 to -0.97

Unsure when to trade ? It's never a sure bet, just got to lower the risks....
The best scenarios would be coming out of 20 and 80....if it hoovers around 50 better leave it for a while...

Now lets keep an eye on USDCHF the next couple of days, it could become interesting to go long when all 4 stochs come out of the 20.... mind you it might be a few days from now.

Hej all you guys,

as far as EUR/USD is concerned I have seriously treated TEB's above quoted post as well as his posts number 1322 and 1330. (thanks TEB). I know its a bit off the system's very rules, but I thought I will follow the Master at this point, as I felt he had a good sensation about Eur/Usd future.

Just thought you'd like to know this

Hiya Bago,
Vantage Point is a "Predicting Software", it should be used the other way round. You get the signals from VP and before entering a trade you get your confirmations from TEB's system. Today was a good day for my VP demo account (still testing to make sure I have everything set up the properway).

It's a site dedicated to VP and has many strategies and reviews there for you to look at. I am sure I am allowed to post this link as it is not in competition with FF.

I have a posting from some where that showed basical
they use a simple moving avarage shifts over
I think it was 7(or 8 or9) & 3
If I can find it I will posted

Becarefull
used a 200 EMA or 4 hour channel will be better trend tester
that is my thoughts
