Consolidation around 1.0945 is in order to establish that it is in a position to test the high recorded in February. Any extension beyond its current high could prolong the consolidation period.

..that is, barring any surprise newa to the negative or positive side that could fuel the drive either up or down.

PD: no position yet since I sold all ahead of the CPI data.

I realized I sold too soon...

A consolation though is, a gain is a gain.

In my opinion, we're going to see a down day on Monday, April 17th.
EUR/USD now has the same setup as on October 13th with effect on October 14th. You can look it up on your platform how price behaved on Oct 14th.
So you can expect a 100 pip down day on April 17th. However, making 50 pips is more realistic.

EURUSD price action on the daily time frame is tackling the 50 Fib retracement area of the 1.22535/0.95350 bearish swing. Although there was a bullish move above the 1.08500/1.09690 horizontal resistance zone (purple) on Thursday, bears neutralized the move Friday. So, presently, EURUSD price action on the daily time frame is in a sideway mode.

I may be wrong. Trade safe and prosper.

Watch out for the breach of the 1.09405 to the downside. Pair is over extended at present.

I'm putting my money on a consolidation at this point between 1.1 and 1.05.

The currency is extremely bullish making higher highs and higher lows donot be fooled by the "ranging" on the daily chart. until we break .0931 the bulls have a hold on the price.See chart below
