China will have a bit of a population crisis as well. Their one child policy has put them in a precarious situation, and with the Chinese "zoomer" generation's "let it rot" mantra... doesn't look good for them in the long run. They are in an uptrend as far as their relevancy goes, but it has a shelf life imo.

They're buying in South America too. None of this should surprise us though, BRICS has been around for over a decade and a half and made their intentions clear back then. Jim Rickards wrote about it in Currency Wars back in 2011 I think. It's an interesting book. Times are changing, all we can do is roll with the punches. I have no idea what will happen or how it will play out. Just keeping my head down and eyes open.

USDJPY price action on the daily time frame remains sideways as it tackles the 134.100 horizontal resistance area. A bullish break out may incentivize further northward liquidity engineering. But failure may result in a retest of the 131.900 near-term horizontal support and even the 130.980/129.530 longer-term horizontal support zone (green).

I may be wrong. Trade safe and prosper.

Long from 133.90. Waiting asian session for Ueda first speech. Nobody is waiting surprises so the possibility of a bull trend should be logic. (But markets and logic aren't partners). We'll see.
