Although USDJPY price action on the daily time frame is sideways, recent technical impulse is favorably bullish. But price action is tackling a minor horizontal resistance at the 133.770 area.

I may be wrong. Trade safe and prosper.

I am currently long USDJPY, trading in-line with the current trend. I traded the breakout of last week's high, and managed to avoid becoming directionally biased. This afternoon, I closed out of my position, and not an hour later, the dealer broke the zone of consolidation. When I got home, I noticed something... I've spent years identifying this same behavior, and I was able to measure it out. Feel free to read through my markup, it's easier to read from left to right. Just follow the price action for a better understanding of my analysis.

I'm curious if the dealer is absorbing breakout long pending orders on the other side of yesterday's high, and reversing to hit stops, or if its a weak correction as the dealer allows selling volume to pile in on the inside of yesterday's high before the next rally... Only time will tell.

For those who are curious, my stop loss is just outside the 15-pip stop hunt zone (134.260), risking a handful of pips. Take profit somewhere in the 135.4xx zone.

Really like all your chart analysis.
You have a simple but logical approach.
May I ask how many pairs you watch or trade? You have posted charts for EURUSD CHFJPY & USDJPY recently - do you watch all 3 simultaneously? Or maybe there is additional analysis to select the pair to be traded each day?
I am curious
As usual, I will continue to look forward to your useful & logical posts/analyses.

Aside from the results of economic indicators, the reason why the dollar is bought over the yen is because of the interest rate differential. The current Japanese yen will be worthless for the time being.
