This is because of the new MT4 version (standard) which shows a 5th decimal. If you look the orders, the figures are weird when the order close for a loss (like missing a decimal here and there)

ATM, the EA is not able to close any trade but because of a TP reached or because of a forced close because of margin call.

This is why i think this EA with it's near 100% rate could be a real winner but without the implementation of a SL it is not possible to do proper backtests (for example, the first trade in the latest backtest goes around minus 40-50 before turning back and reaching the TP so if you had a SL of 30, the trade would not have been profitable, this was checked with visual testing )

I have the EA running on demo on several pairs on 5 min charts just to get more action. Seems to work OK to date. What we need to do is collate some real-time forward testing results and then run a back-test to compare. If that looks promising then it would add some support to the value of the longer term backtests that you have run.

Congratulations on keeping up the content on this thread. I havn't posted much but I have been keepong my eye on it.

if the safer offer the same success rate with a far bigger pipcount we also need to do a ratio.

method1 : 1 trade every 2 day with a 10 pips return would give in 1000 days 5000 pips
method2 : 1 trade every 10 days with 70 pips return would give in 1000 days 7000 pips

It is just a stupid example but you see my point

1. The positive bar is much shorter than the previous bar, or
2. Changes to a negative bar at close.

I'd be very interested to get any feedback on using this as the exit point.

Are there any templates based on the Sexy 1.1 pdf out there? I've got the
Stochastics indicators but I can't find the other 3 in the MT4 platform that I'm using.

This may be why I'm having problems following this method.

Hey all,

I have been studying this method for 3 weeks now and have been trading it live for the last 2 weeks. I am trading GBP/JPY, GBP/USD, EUR/USD, & USD/JPY. The first week was good at +220 pips. This week was my best week at +365 pips. I am doing this part time, by being able to be in front of my computer roughly 15 hours per week. I use Interbank FX for charts and Oanda for my trades.

I simplified this system this week as follows .... I mainly look at 1hour charts. When the Blue 20,10,20 stoch line changes slope/direction and comes up from below 30 I am ready to buy long. I then wait for the 5,3,3 stoch to reload (best if it goes below 20 and heads up, but mainly just changes direction). Then I place my trade. (The same holds true only reverse for shorts....Blue 20,10,20 stoch line goes down from 70)

I am getting out one of three ways..... when the 5,3,3 stoch hits the 80 line or reverses or I get chicken and want to book pips (usually 15 to 35 pips then close trades). Not being greedy is OK. I started the week trading 3000 units and built confidence. Toward the end of the week some trades were 10,000 units. Obviously, nothing to get rich with, but fits my style, and want to book consistent pips before increasing $.
Stop loss at 50 to 75.

I started Sunday and made 17 trades thru today. 15 trades closed positive for +390 pips, 2 trades I closed out for -19 pips and -6 pips (the 5,3,3 stoch was losing steam and got scared). None hit my stop loss.

This simple system, part time netted me $213 for this week.

Best advise I can give is there are tons of 15 - 35 pip reversals/trends during each week that are identified by this system. Don't look at other systems. Don't be greedy. Catch as many reversals/trends as time allows you. Gain confidence in your version of this system. Book pips and do it over the long term. Keep it simple.

Now I am going to print that last paragraph and follow my own advise for next week.

Now, lets see if my blonde brain has this right:
The Heiken Ashi bars are colored depending on Long or Short. they coincide w/ Stochs at the bottom.
Lime Green goes w/ the KPeriod of 5
Yellow goes w/ the DPeriod of 3
RoyalBlue Solid goes w/ the KPeriod of 20
RoyalBlue dotted goes w/ the DPeroid of 10
OrangeRed sold goes w/ the KPeriod of 50
Red dotted goes w/ the DPeriod of 10 (this one w/ 20 slowing).

Let me know if I got that right or wrong please.

What does the EA do? Will it signal a possible buy/sell? How?

I'm going to read the Sexy 1.1 pdf over the weekend. I hope it'll tel me what the MACD STR and EMA table is in the upper right hand corner.

Again, thanks for everything!!! I'm new, but I want to start soon so I can post my results too.

PS. Right now, if I remember correctly, Interbank is moving their servers.

I haven't managed to get the EA working yet. Had it running yesterday on multiple timeframes and pairs but it didn't enter any trades. On some of the forum threads that I have been looking at they say that if the EA appears in grey as this one does then there is an issue with the coding.

The red and green panel with MACD STR and EMA is a trend indicator in multiple timeframes. You can use it to review your trade when you enter or exit. For example you may have a long entry on the 1 hour signalled, but the 1, 5 and 15 minutes on this indicator may be red. You could then have a look at the stoch (and other indicator) setups to time the entry correctly on smaller time frames, and minimise possible losses. I'm also interested to know exactly what has been programmed into the EA.

Aghast - Could you please explain which version of the system is coded into it, and what determines the entry and exit points. Which of the indicators have been used? Thanks.

My biggest tip, never trade against the arrows. On the timeframe that you are trading in, wait for the big red or blue arrow and only trade in that direction. I can't believe how accurate they are as predictors.

If anyone else has been getting frustrated trying to include the Calendar Indicator that is mentioned in this thread, here is the latest version, that works fine.
Also find attached the updated template including the Calendar. I feel like I'm all set and ready to trade using this template now. Thanks very much to all contributors.

I've added a HAMA option. I'd say this basically turns it into a stochastic colored moving average. Isn't it odd that HAMA candles have almost no lower wicks, but large upper wicks? So I reckon they have no significance. Maybe somebody can explain (again?) how they are used in this method, thanks!

As for the EA there is one, just check the box that say manual confirmation and you will be set
