Gann Angles users will note that the Uptrending Slope slowed going from 45° to 34° ( 45°-11.25°)

You have to focus your attention FIRST on the (Underlying) TREND

Here Price ACtion oscillates within the Envelope 128 with an Amplitude of 25 Points

Up To Date the Measured Move from the Last Low is + 70 Points

Hurst wrote that "Cycles" concur for 23% of Price Action (23 % of all price motion is oscillatory in nature and semi-predictable) ! and "foreseeable fundamental events influencing investors thinking regarding industry groups and specific issues account for 75% of the price motion of stocks. Hope all is well with you & family. I'm not posting much these days as I'm more focused on trading.

Even though I have a method I trade I still keep going back to Gann & his Square of Nine. I use the Square of Nine @ times purely to see if it lines up with what I am doing. It does @ times give some level of verification. There are many times that the Square of Nine is spot on with the entry points. More times than not, but it appears the Square will be more accurate on certain pairs than others.

What is your view on the Square of Nine if you have any experience with the Sqaure of Nine. Do you know of another trader that currently uses the Square of Nine?

I value your views, comments & opinions & that is why I seek your input.

I have invested a lot of time and efforts on the Sqaure of Nine a Long Time and never goes practically anywhere on atrading or investing point of view.
In 25 years I have never met a trader trading PERSISTENTLY - every dayn week etc on various time frames and financial entity. For example , It does not exist on FF for example. (Search Square of Nine)

Hence I focused as you know on Hurst Trading Methodology and Gann / Murrey Grid System

Anyway Ace feel free to post your Square of Nine Examples on this thread. You are always welcomed.

Let's separate the wheat from the chaff - which "the most important" (to quote Gann and which is secondary , less important.

Let's assume you are investing in the SP 500 or an ETF of the SP 500

you do not need to be a trading or an investing genius to understand in this post mortem what are the key points :

you need to identify

the Low L (End of March 2020)

to detect the Uptrend

to enter the Up trend

to follow the Uptrend

to exit just before the Top T or just after the reversal (Beginning of January 2022)

Even if everybody can identify 2 Dominant Up Waves within Price Action, it is obvious that it is not a very important point.

How to follow the E-Mini Uptrend (this one or another ?

By using FLD's - Future Line of Demarcations -Actual Price projected in the future of 1/2 period of a Cycle of Interest

In this case we have used

FLD 64 - price projected in the future of 32 Days

FLD 128 - price projected in the future of 64 Days

as you can see the FLD 64 (in red) - Actual Price projected of 32 Days in the Future is a good tool to follow an Uptrend.

Every Time Price touches or breaks this FLD on the Downside - we are alerted - does Price will go lower and do we face a Change in Trend - a Reversal ?

Observe that in 20 months you were alerted only 6 Times that Prices touched, went along or broke the FLD 64 (red)

as you can see the FLD 128 (in blue) - Actual Price projected of 64 Days in the Future is a good tool to follow an Uptrend.

Every Time Price touches or breaks this FLD on the Downside - we are alerted - does Price will go lower and do we face a Change in Trend - a Reversal ? This the time where you decide if you sell your Long position or if you keep it

Observe that in 20 months you were alerted only 3 Times that Prices touched, the FLD 128 (blue )
