UCad

I have trouble placing day counts on some pairs. This is one of them. One thing I am noticing is how it adheres to levels and builds S/R points.

This is the kind of pair that I would have to catch at that moment where a base is formed and I see an entry.

I use that same basic find bases (zeppelins) process with everything I trade.

Not sure if anyone's posted this before, but I found this indicator for adding a vertical line at the open of the week if anyone wants it. For my broker it works with Monday at 00:00, but yours may differ. Enjoy.

Or is the Weekly range determined as price moves day to day .. being adjusted day by day and redrawn if price moves higher than the last Highest H or lower than the last Lowest L . starting with Monday ?

At the end of the Week the result will be the same . But ... during a current Week the Weekly H/L will change if price moves higher or lower than prior days. Should the Weekly Range be changed as this happens or should that measurement be left up to determining the Daily range ?

Regarding Friday into Monday. I look at it as one day flows into the next. Even if we start each week back at Day1 on Monday, there is a flow from the previous week. I see Friday as the Initial range going into the new week. Reasoning is price should respect the various points created Friday. High, low, even open and swing points can even have import.

The Current week's high and low are adjusted as the week progresses. For instance GJ last week. Set a Current week low and high. Tuesday created a new week high. Wednesday created another new week high. Then price reversed and formed a classic high of the week to low of the week move. In the process a new current week low was created Friday.

The Day H/L is set at the end of the day. This past Week H/L were set at the close of the week. That becomes PWH/PWL Previous Week H/L.

The current week has a high and low that it creates during the week. This will be one of the daily highs and lows. These become important levels. The are not set until the end of the week as price could break one or the other and set a new H/L for the week.

The key word is Current. Just like the daily. You wake up to trade the US and price moved up to London then came down into NY. That high, as long as it is not penetrated, remains the high of the day. The Current Week works the same way.

So you have a previous week H/L from last week and a current week H/L being created as this week goes on.

Put it in this way -->
PDH/PDL ---> FIXED ---> confirmed @ EOD (Previous)
PWH/PWL --> FIXED ---> Confirmed @ EOW (Previous)
CURRENT DH/DL ---> PROGRESSIVE ---> Temporally confirmation @ EOS (each session)
CURRENT WH/WL ---> PROGRESSIVE ---> Temporally confirmation @ EOD

Determining the FALSE BREAK of the CURRENT weekly level is a bit tricky. Pay attention when a FALSE BREAK occurs @ PDH/PDL that is also the CURRENT WH/WL.

I like live performances by most artists. This song and whoever did the video are both great. I have been on a list type thing to see as many old timers shows as I can before they are gone kick. Sadly Alice in Chains was more like a tribute band of themselves. Do not care for the current lead singer. Going to try and get to Vegas this fall to see Van Morrison and the B-52s.

I do the SP500 - MES - futures different than the currencies. For one, I am looking at a window of about 3 hours. I will go longer if PA is acting how I like. It needs to be fairly clean in its "cycles". My time (-1 from NY) is 9:30 to around noon. With my entry system refined I am ready to turn this into a full business. Good luck.

The 3 live performances I recall are BB King at the MN State Fair, before that Harry Belafonte at the St. Paul Civic Center and before that ... playing in our stage big band along with our lead singer and pianist who several years later would be known as Mary McGregor ( Torn Between Two Lovers ). That really dates me.
