exactly. it's not news driven. it's value of eur vs usd.
gbp and eur and aud and nzd are all over valued against the usd. we'll see a correction sometime soon to more reasonable values. if we don't we would see a world upset in the currency markets. that is impossible or as close to impossible as destroying all currencies in the world.

It may not be news driven, but it is fundamentally driven.

The EUR didn't just drop against the USD, incidentally. There was a larger than average move downwards in the EUR/GBP, the EUR/JPY and the EUR/AUD. The EUR/CAD has been in a downtred forever and the EUR/CHF sort of wiggled a bit, but is still lower.

So, the question is valid...why is the EUR weak today?

There was some news about German production that went sour for the EUR, so that could be the cause...but in a few days, the EUR is expected to hold interest rates...so that could be another factor.

I wouldn't play this off as just USD weakness or currency valuation vs the dollar. The dollar may be stronger, but the EUR is definitely weaker across the board, and I'm not sure that has anything to do with the USD.

The big boys will let us "dumb money" drive it down
so they can make a killing putting it on the right tracks!!

This is a fake out... usd interst rates going down
& euro & cable going up.....

This is good in theory, however, explain why the USD then has gone down throughout nearly its entire run of interest hikes. From 1.5% or so if I am not mistaken several years ago until now?

Interest rates don't help currency rates, unless there are other factors involved. Look at India and Turkey for example

I think it could still drop a little
esp so the Future guys can take out 1.3500
But even that maybe to far?

Its hit the bottom of the 4 hour channel
can it break that?

Only if someone knows something we don't
ie. the The US interest increase? A Eur decrease?

Might it be because of the possible buy of us steel maker by european one? I guess they will need to exchange a lot of euros for usd for that. 4.5 bil usd.

No the USD would & will fall as thier rates drop
The only reason the dollar has not dropped more
was because their rates were so high and climbing
...esp to the eur.
and everyone else has been forcing the dollar up
with lower interst rate on their money
The USD is going to drop big time ..
it might be this week it might be a year or two
but it must happen because of trade

Interest rates are #1 in money market!!
Big time... They are the main engine...
The main thing the big boys care about
... other then a war or trade tarrifs or big trade problems !!

I think we have one more day of retracement before resuming the trend. Looking at the daily and weekly charts there is support at 1.3370-80 which is also a 50 fib on the daily and a 38 fib on the weekly.

from daily Chart EUR/GBP , it seem a three shoulder top has formlised. so it is technical adjustment?!
DO i have to upload a chart to somewhere esle, to get that shown in here?

Definitely close if not already there.

Technical adjustment? I dunno...there are fundamentals driving this behavior at the moment. I would be estatic to see some volatility in this pair for a little while, especially a drop to the 0.6750-0.6760 levels.
