Yea this is probably a gift to many traders, I'm glad you managed to capitalise on it

I have a setup to deploy on the straight line days but rarely deploy it, prefer just to stand back

The core premise of the thread is just one setup that relies on a sweep into a liquidity pool

Long way of saying 'I like ranges' a day like Monday is a gift to me.

Here is what I am looking at today. UK GDP numbers aren't contributing anything.

Pretty sure the same basic levels are in play.

Folks gonna dig up that spreadsheet I talked about earlier in the thread later on and upload it (if I can find it!)

The idea is to grade setups based on various factors so your mood doesn't influence whether you take the trade or not

I think we all kind of know what the strong setups are compared to weak setups (for example, this setup has hourly equal highs with LQG on DXY which brings it up to 'A' grade). If anyone wants to collaborate and improve our trading in the process that would be cool.

As I say it's not really been road tested.

With this current buy, putting my stops to break-even shortly.

zero side imbalance holds price. zero side imbalances are usually a proxy for structure. once that's broken, there is a BOS.

happy to take BE here if it looks like its going south

Hi Merka

Not answering for mysterio but can I show you one of my setups directly out of my Scalping Playbook.

Of 5 setups I trade, one is called a "Complete Auction" setup because at that time - either a Bid or Ask was showing a 0 in its column. These Complete Auctions indicators lack of liquidity on one side of the books at that spot (so much for massive liquidity bullshit) and if its significant, likely offers me a micro fading setup on a Futures Market.

I MAY have taken that Double 0 setup which on a 5 contract position for a few ticks is probably worth around $250.
Do that a few times and you have your rent paid for the week.

It's a really great Gold Futures setup where the $$$$$$ really add up, on Cable Futures on strong volume days, it's just fair.

Hello Rick,

thank you for sharing your setup.

i have a question on it … on the same candle where you have at the bottom a double 0 setup that you fade we also have at the top of it another double 0 setup.

why not to fade the double top setup and fade the double bottom.

well from the candle direction we can see that you were correct…. You opposed the double bottom setup and the price moves up …. However the candle closed with a double 0 on the top…..

The only logical explanation is that the strategy is only relevant for the same candle and you took the trade exactly after the double bottom appeared ?

... and where do you exit the trade?
Do you look at technical signals or make decisions based on data?
