I remember that I have account access during last flash crash on GBP...now is some volatility, but no any flash crash on any currency...

Someone at OANDA must have made a major mistake during the period you describe. I'm sure he/she is no longer with the company.

But let me ask you, did you actually have a trade going in the crash direction at the time? And did OANDA allow you to get out at the end of the move? Because that's another time when "technical difficulties" kick in, robbing their clients of the ability to get OUT of a trade at the most advantageous time.

Overall, it's a wonderful company -- that is just begging for more regulation.

Just to take a market at random - EURUSD - all the price action ABOVE the yellow line occurred when OANDA was having "technical difficulties".

If you are the type that doesn't mind missing out on being able to enter a move at the top, then OANDA is the company for you!

That's correct...Oanda's "technical difficulties" are a nightmare for traders...

Is there anyone on here that used the Oanda API this week? I'm having some really odd problems with stop and limit orders. I can't figure out if it's on my end or if it's an API issue. If anyone used the API successfully this week (or unsuccessfully) please let me know. Thanks!
No problem on API side for me, rock solid.

Okay thanks, that helps a lot. It must be the program I am using (MultiCharts) that is having the problem and not the Oanda API.
Hi,
i have problems to log-in to my account. Tradingview and fxtrade app does not work and web Interface (PC) does not work.
I'm always redirected to a blank log-in page. (Oanda UK).

Anyone else too?

And by "guarding" you mean to say Oanda is bullying all the banks in the world by not allowing EURUSD prices to break some resistance?

Sure, but i will best learn if you teach us how Oanda is guarding EURUSD level not to be breached.
Is anyone else having issues with Oanda's price history data corrupting on the M1 and sometimes M5 charts?

It's happened on GBPJPY, USDCAD, and maybe one or two more that I can't remember.

Here's an example on USDCAD. As you can see, most of the data is missing for most of the recent past and then there's a gap with data at 2018.

I appreciate the offer! Honestly, I'd love to have Oanda historical data up for any pair up to 5 years back, but I would never ask for that from someone. Personally, I think Oanda should offer that data to its paying customers, but I digress.

Anyway, I think I solved the problem. I have a script that I occasionally run that downloads price data from M1 -> H4 for every unique pair for the charts I have open. I don't have a cooldown to wait for it to download the data, so it basically just downloads as fast as possible. I set a cooldown to 1.5s for every timeframe and, ever since then, the issue hasn't cropped up.

OT: If anyone knows a site with Oanda's historical data, I'd appreciate it!
