You could also double-click the installer to reinstall and it will upgrade to the newest build.
If you're not architecting, you're building someone else's plan.

MQL5 code is way too convolute, requires multiple more lines of code, and takes much more time for the same outcome... IMHO.

This is baloney. Can you provide a comparison example, confirming at least your first 2 points?
The reality is:
1. Complexity of MQL4 and MQL5 languages is the same, it is equal. More parameters in MQL5 functions or an extra function call doesn't make it more difficult.
2. MQL5 has more abilities and capacities.

Now some news about MT4. MetaQuotes CEO said the following on June 02:
Most likely we will announce MT4's 'End of Life' this autumn,
'End of Life' means the end of active support and updates.

Metaquotes have been try to push MT5 for years without not much success, it will take a while to completely remove MT4

i will stay with MT4.
Mt5 mostly build for algo and copy trade. Acting like a retails traders, i will use Mt4.
