I wouldn’t be surprised to see an over night retrace. Anyhow.. alerts set. See what happens.

H4 channel + 1.618 extension, good context for long entry.

Although presently USDJPY price action on the daily time frame is sideways, the technical impulse is bearish. And we may still see further southward drive, perhaps to retest the 130.300 handle.

I may be wrong. Trade safe and prosper.

I’m still on the bearish side of this pair. Wouldn’t surprise me to see a retrace to close to the 200 dma. I’ll pick my spots to add to my short position on the daily and 4 hr charts.

Good area to take at least half profit. 134.20

It is dollar buying for the time being when I think about Japan-U.S. interest differential, the economic power, strength of a nation of the United States.

So far so good. I’ve got a close order under 132 to close out the short if it hits over the next few hours. Back to dinner.

Happy New Year. Looks like the BOJ will be very busy next year.. I closed my short though I wish I held a bit longer. Money is money lol. Anyhow I’m getting ready to flatten left over positions into the weekend and start the year fresh.

USDJPY price action on the daily time frame is still bearish and the technical pattern and order flow context favour further southward move. We may see a bearish drive to retest the 129.430/130.220 untested order block (red).

I may be wrong. Trade safe and prosper.

I believe downtrend it will break all SL between 130.500 - 130.300 to create liquidity, to be even more sure, I would say even around 130.000. I highly doubt it will go below 129.800.

I will be careful, and only take my long after that.


UPDATE 2023-01-03 : Hope many had the chance to take a great long position, either still holding or profit taking.

SHORT to finish out the week. Hopefully this sideways decline is over.

Pushing through 131.550, hopefully the bears are done, and the demand is high. Lets hope the banks will push through and Aiming for 134.600. First picture is 1D staple, adding a 4h staple as well for a more clear picture.

Think more to downside

Entering the box now, it's now or never. Lets hope the bulls and demands will be proven superior. Based on analysis, nothing is ever 100%, breaking this area will hopefully create a more solid ground. 133.550 - 134.750.

Yea, same from my view too, just the trend is still downside. The break only will confirmed it to upside i think.

NFP according to forecasts across the board should be good and I see no slowdown in PA pre-event.
Lots of compression though, a little pullback wouldn't scare me away.
