Use drones hobby aerial photography instead.

My daily sniper trades closed on Friday November 25. Sniper traders shoot at the HA candles from behind the 5EMA like what the OP mentioned in his posts and in Post#7555. You can make $500 to $1000 per day with a $10,000 account. #557

the traders must limit his maximum Loss per day to 'R' and use R-Multiples for his Wins.

with a $10,000 account one must not lose more than $1000 per day.

The OP in his Post#495 knows how he would pick only the best setup and he cut his losses quickly.

This has not happened to anyone in the last 12 years since 2011.
The OP himself could have achieved that kind of 85% win rate between 2010 and 2011. He has 15+ years trading experience. Do you have that same 15+ years knowledge and experience ?

Stop dreaming and start learning to trade and develop your own winning system that fits you.

Anyone preaching EAs, trading with adding to losing positions, unrealistic account growth rate, etc, are very likely scammers.

Readers can choose to believe and follow those traps. Just a reminder on how big the loss can be when trading these approaches on a single bad day.

I really don't know what to think about this thread. It's obviously full of pertinent information but at almost 7,000 pages it is not only intimidating it is ridiculous.
I don't know if you guys were going for a world record here or what but no thread should ever be allow to get so long.

I mean I just can't. Maybe this is not the place for me.

Good to see you are learning to trade like a M5 sniper.

You need to learn some sniper trading skills.

Let me show you Big E' Price Action trading without the TDI.

1) Look at the Market Type on the weekly

2) Look for swing highs and swing lows using the price fractal

3) Know the H4 trade window and the H4 High and H4 Low

4) Know the 5EMA Typical price, Shift+2 ... this is your protection to position yourself as the sniper

5) Know the price 5LWMA shoot when the price move below the 5LWMA for sell


The above 1) to 5) are basic stuff mentioned in Post#647. Keep these simple.

When there are GAPs in the price , the lagging TDI using the Close price as its signal will simply follow blindly the Close price.

In Post#1, he explained how he traded the H4 chart timeframe and he also traded the H1 chart during the NY session. This suited his lifestyle being retired and the time zone he lived. Sadly he passed away in Oct 2012.

When you are overwhelmed (information overload) by the number of posts and the loads of information and variations shared by other traders here, the best thing to do is to stop reading and go back to the basics what Big E mentioned in his 463 posts in this thread and 861 posts in the CHS thread. First you learn and master the 5-Method first before you start add your own tweaks and make a new system.

Recommendations:
Read all of Big E posts... 861posts in the Craig Harris Stochastics thread and 463 posts in this TMS thread....and make notes on those training charts he posted. Pay attention whenever he mentioned PA and what you see on his training charts.

Learn the basic stuff about forex trading first. A good place to start is www.babypips.com/school

If you want to trade the way Big E described in Post#1, make sure you use his template , the Synergy APB / HA candles and use that TDI Red Green version. These are in Post#25.

Important to Note that the TDI Red Green version repaints all the bars in history so you cannot use this when you do back-testing by scrolling back your charts. The better way is to run this in live market and trade the TMS setups based on what you see without refreshing your charts. When you want to trade with entries on the APB#1 and APB#2 candles, always wait for the price bar/candle to close and use the TDI to confirm the setup.

Big E was a rule-based discretionary trader. According to studies by Dr Van K Tharp this rule-based discretionary are the best traders,
