I feel like you are selling yourself short my friend @ price action skills. You obviously have a great deal of patience as exhibited in your chart, and posting, so I feel strongly this is attainable. Here... the theories here helped me. (I of course paid 62 dollars for the actual book on Amazon to ensure I actually read it)

Many say they are subjective, but the more you get a hang of it, the less things you need to put on your charts. At least that has been my experience. Waves 2 and 4 tend to exit the channel, and their ends are often represented by dual wicks. I have a saying.. two wicks get in quick. With what you already have if you add the theories represented in this book I think you would blow the roof off.
I was drawn to it because of the psychology behind it. It is the same psychology that appears in every day trends.. clothing.. haircuts, etc. A few people get in (wave 1). Nay sayers push back (wave 2), then others pile on because the die hard ones in the first group stay the course.. then.. more people pile into it until everywhere you look people are doing it (wave 3 thus the longest). Then folks get tired of it.. it runs it's course (wave 4).. only to then be picked up by those who initially refused to be part of it (wave 5)... Then it dies. We see it every day. The guy started the baggy jeans who was made fun of, then everyone wears them except for the stubborn one who refuses to comply... when he finally complies, the trend is all but over and you find him looking out of place. These are the waves.. and they are EVERYWHERE.. just as the Fibonacci numbers are. As humans we fight the obvious, so I tend to lean towards the subtle unseen forces that drive us.
The rules are also great for sl placement. When the first wick is formed.. wait for the second rejection off that area and the sl goes under it. Minimizing the loss.. maximizing the profit. For practice pull up a 5 or 1 min chart and just watch how price moves. It makes no sense until you realize it does.

USDJPY price action on the daily time frame retested the 145.720/144.650 horizontal support area (green) a few times last week but met bullish resistance. Friday’s price action produced a bullish candlestick but there was limited momentum. Although price action is located at the 147.150 intra-day resistance area, should bulls follow through Friday’s intent we may see further northward move in the early part of this week.

. It's ok to be small mate, for it's the size of your heart that counts ! I bought again here at 147.22, but its part of my intraday trades, with 30pips SL... Focusing on sharing only my long-term endeavors here. Happy trading !
