Long to 149.15. Will watch that level for hiccups. Especially if news comes out around there.
Number is the 100 percent extension off of the monthly three leg move up.

We should be getting some kind of reaction this week in my opinion. Looks like today we are safe though. I was just pay attention to NYO though. Maybe this time it won't be during Asian session..

I continue to move my sell stops up..

NYO???

If that points to an intervention I don't think it will happen. At least not from BOJ. The Fed is already forecasted a change in rates Nov. 4, so IMO they will wait to see the reaction there before considering any intervention. I see 147 supporting us until the BOJ outlook next week. I could be wrong though,

Very well it could be like you said yeah.
We still have 2 weeks until there though.
USD/JPY 155? We'll see. 147 as Support sure.

haha... could be. I did mention that in my earlier post on Oct 12, #86055, "Trading JPY crosses at this time is risky. I waited for a while, and entered a short trade at ..."

I use relatively small lot sizes, and I have this account hedged with another non-JPY pair. So, even if it goes to 180, I'm still fine. Say, if it shoots up to 240 (I know it won't), I'm protected. No worries about that. I think we should always have a disclaimer saying that nobody should ever copy anybody for risk reason.

You know, I don't use stops. I trade extremely low leverage.

Price eventually has to retrace. Anyway..I think Goose is right. We should see 150..
We should also see an intervention, that's why I'm not even considering buying this pair. We all witnessed on Friday I think, 120 pips down in a minute..

I have stacked sell stops, 148, 147.5, 147 and 146.5. I just wait.. patiently. If price reaches 150 I'll move this sell stops higher of course. I'll just continue moving these orders up and when retracement or intervention finally comes, I am ready!

I agree with you. trading short against such a trend is very dangerous. perhaps from 150 will start correction

It's better strategy to put sell stop orders in my opinion. That way, you don't care if the price reaches 150, 155 or 170. You just keep re-adjusting them. Moving them higher and higher, following the price.

Sold @ 148.90

Everyone waiting for 150 which will not come as they know retailers waiting for the level to short .

Yeah agree with you that. If JPY go to 150 that mean it fail 30% => the gov won't accept it

Anyone know what happened on that 1m dive and recover candle?
I think they may have shown us the daily target for the day. Looks like someone jumped the gun on a bulk order. No bonus for little Jimmy
