This is the Windows operating system's own screen recorder and it's completely FREE. I don't know which version you are using, but to find it, hold down the WINDOWS key and then press the letter G. If your version is sufficient, it will appear on the screen. If your version is not enough, I recommend the application called CAMTASIA.

In my experience, every successful trader believes there is one small component of their strategy that makes the strategy successful. While they make use many aspects of a trading system, one small occurrence they see makes them the most money.

Can I ask you if there is one small repeatable trading occurrence, one signal source you believe holds the key to your trading success.

Just curious to hear if you are blinded by flashing signals but make it work or are you focussed on one light primary.

In the background, I can hear profitable traders raising their hands and saying it’s all about ……………

Hi Rick

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to explain my edge here, you might be thinking it is the delta which is the edge, No it is not as delta alone doesn't tell me the whole picture it is ICT which has taught me how to read the price from the price alone. where it is headed to and why. I noticed, while testing deltas, even alot of bearish cumm. delta with alot of net negative delta orders yet price can go higher taking the support of a Fair value gap beneath it i have no choice but to book the loss there since i dont have the capital to hold or average it further. Funds who have big pockets only they can see drawdowns.

To learn about order flow i also bought the course and software of trader dale, and even cluster deltas life time subscription and i further expands my learning to Open Interest and commitment of traders reports, yet all these report says some thing which is the big picture, while price is doing something else it is not that these data does not help but these big funds has large pockets we small retailer have to follow the price alone.

The Edge:
After learning ICT the most famous Order blocks, i thought it is it and it works several times honestly and the whole world went crazy behind SMC order block that it is it, but things revealed to me once i start watching Michael Commentaries, how he see the chart day in day out and explains it has open up the world to me that it is not the Order block, it is actually what Michael called it a Fair Value GAP, extended out in time, even the filled ones of HTF, he once told in the commentary one only has to mark FVG on a blank chart and this open up a new world, an Order block is also a part of it not otherwise.

Whereas, reference to blindness of flashing signals, which works if you noticed , credits to PAT Chickoo who conveys the message indirectly of me as being hindsight and wanna be macho which pushed me to do it, i notice that i perform well when being pushed , and start giving signals which worked my gosh to the pip most of the time if not small SL gets hit,

and secondly it is Tom Hougaard whose books and lectures helped me with my psychology, to understand how the best loser wins in this market, and how our brain is hardwired of cutting profits and while averaging our losses, we don't wanna loose at any cost. But here we must learn to average and build on our winning trades while cutting the losing ones.

Refer below is a classic example of averaging a losing trades of -280 pips of 5-6lots for full post which no body likes

Hope i didnt hurt your feelings, or you can say i have not yet learnt to use Delta properly and i will accept that.

Why so complicated? What high and low are for? Let's take only open and close. In fact to draw lines and arrows there is no need to have high and low ever. Or you can use only high and low. That was a great post, sounds like your trading is going well and you are achieving good profits. Order flow is a certainly the best way forward but while our methods and tools used to achieve a profit outcome may differ, our vision may actually be closer than you think.

Toms trade management ideas are second to none, I think that horse will win you many races in the future.

Lastly, I am never offended but suggest you may be using Delta the wrong way. Delta signals are best used not for direction bias but to allow us to see who the Aggressor is. Follow the Aggressor and not Delta and the profits will flow. Cum Delta is useful best to show the amount of trader participation in the market. If it's going sideways, there is no dominant Aggressor so don't trade.

Thank you for the kind post as always, i still may not seeing Delta the way it should be, yet blessing in disguise it helped me focusing on the price more, and in ICT it is the FVG to judge the aggression, we can do back test if you want anytime to map both.

@bilal1947,ok ill read more of your posts and will get back to you on this one,seems you are trading the 'reverse' of the FVG pattern ive just put the R4M-BDX-ADR indicator on the chart and trading taking trades towards the centre line,getting good results so far even though its a just demo account.i need to look into it more its too early yet . anyways cheers !
