Make 10% your first month and you receive $8500 ($8K +$500 fee refund) and you still have 12K to trade the following month. You would need to flip the personal account 4 times in THAT SAME PERIOD (as opposed to 2 with the prop) to get to 8K. However, if you withdrawal it, you start from scratch, you don't have 12K to begin the next month.
