- 5EMA is the direction

- Price Action a swing low will be confirm with another bar/candle but you must be careful with the swing highs this week already formed... can be broken if the market is bullish today

COWABUNGA approach to Trading Made Simple

this week' ongoing discussion in one Telegram group on how to filter the 5-Method trade setups and help pick the 'best setups' and trade like Big E.

Here is that same flowchart again.
You can test this approach using the RSI(14) default (instead of TDI) + Stoch(8,3,3) and MACD(12,26,9) default.
The APB/HA candles and 5EMA Typical Price, Shift+2 remains the same.
Follow your own trading hours, for example if you trade the European/London sessions then follow the 4hr chart as your primary timeframe and trade H1 and M15.
***Important here is the Price Action and what you see with the HA candles and its 5EMA as the direction Post#261.
Learn to pick the PA swings - swing highs and swing lows. Follow the price Fractals.

TMS 5-Method

- note the Stoch(8,3,3) is below 30-level and can stay below 30-level if the down trend is strong, but look at the price action if there is correction and small candles which can bring the Stoch back to it 50-level. Study previous price action and the Stoch.

- check the RSI(14) and its MAs 7 and 34

- the MACD histogram is RED below zero

- my current trade bias is to sell but wait for the London session

*Tokyo bank holiday

Hello, it's been eight months since I've read this agent and found it very interesting. First, for passing a feeling of operating very quiet and second, for being something that runs away from the traditional. But I have a few questions, which I believe new readers will have as well. There were several extra posts that confused a little the reading of the operational

First, at what point do we have a configuration? When TDI and stochastic cross at exactly the same time along with the price crossing the average of 5?

It sounds like a very simple question, but it's not. Note that in the image below, the stochastic crossed first. Is it a valid configuration?

If someone experienced could summarize this fantastic operand in a post, how would the explanation be?
I believe this posting will help many marketers.

which post did you find this chart.

A couple of things to trade the TMS sell setup.

1. #647 Basic price actions. Trend was down with lower highs and lows
2. The TDI is the main tool of TMS. Noted in your chart the candle with the red v-line did not close with TDI green cross red. It was the next candle close when TDI actually made the cross.

I don’t use ema or stoch as they are just confirmations. Trend is already indicated by Highs and lows and timing is indicated by TDI.

- it is sideways market type conditions

- some traders love the COWABUNGA approach and use the MACD as additional indicator to filter better trades but you will find fewer trades and fewer losers

since you have been trading for many years and have the desire to develop your own winning trading systems ,
this thread title Trading Made Simple is a good place to start and to follow the trading journey of the OP eelfranz aka Big E. He started in 2006 as a newbie in forex trading and he tried many things and like most people he evolved as a trader over the years until he died in Oct 2012.

I'll be here to answer all questions and to help people wanting to learn Big E' 5-Method and hope that it will lead some to the original 5-Method and traders will be find enough resources to help them in developing winning trading systems that fit them individually. It will be hardwork and requires some sacrifices and commitment. If anyone spends 3 to 5 hours every day for the next 2 to 3 years, he/she will most likely will make it to become a better trader. Many already missed the last 2-3 years during the pandemic lockdowns.

TMS-II trades closed Monday Oct10.

- after been away for one week following the F1 race events, back to trading this week and did lose a bit of the trading momentum and rhythm of the market

- need to catch up this week and hope to be full-steam next week till end Nov before year-end closing for the vacation time.
