EURUSD's recent short-term price action has been a frustratingly difficult time for me. I'm more used to taking long-term positions based on fundamentals, but ranging/consolidating moments like this are another kind of beast. I took longs at 0.998xx hoping price would reach at least back to parity before FOMC on Thursday, so this kind of suspense and choppy movement is starting to affect me. After the upcoming rate decision announcement, I intend on taking a bit of a break. Anyway, there's still a few hours left in the US session and the entirety of tomorrow, so let's see!

Thanks for your insight, mate! A break is definitely a good thing at times. I absolutely understand the feeling of being on a losing streak, its 100% a situation I do my best to avoid. Generally, I've made most of my gains off of medium-to-long-term trades, but came into the 4th quarter of this year with the intention of practicing short-term trading. Luckily with this mindset, I've managed my leverage well on my 0.998xx long order with just a small position. Still, I recently reached 100% after 11 months of a grueling learning period (i'm still a newbie) and seeing my account dip below that percentage would hurt me a bit haha. But yes, you are correct that there are plenty of opportunities to earn and learn

I go short again. My indicators continue to signal me short. And to be honest, I feel a lot more comfortable with it at the moment.
