in price up yesterday (Friday), it looks like a market shock, meaning that there are parties who force prices to rise with enormous strength

there were this 2 resistance points at around 26 and 31st August, i think we are going there and back down again, around 1.005 and 1.008 (1.005 was my bet a couple days ago). If it goes over them then we can call a up turn.
My view anyway.

it's been very consistent with the patterns it has been following

Hi UnconsciousT. I take the data from fxstreet > https://www.fxstreet.com/news but the website you are seeing has all the data you need for the expiries and plus+ I find it very good.

I also look at options data from CME website, but I don't post levels from there on my posts only information about volatility at pips.

1.0000 level is where many bets are played, because of the obvious 1:1 price with usd so many speculators will want to move the price up, or down from there. Its like a balance point where price returns back after demand and supply ends. Of-course it will not return forever there this week there is a great danger that we see the price leaving from there with momentum and make weeks, or months to look back. The price creates equilibrioum at different levels by the time according with what is happening with other markets and the news so, other levls will created you don't have to worry about.

EU Trading Cycles

The Market is always trading in Cycles. Yearly, Monthly, Weekly, Daily and so on.

It is important to understand in which Cycle you are, specially when daytrading.

The 1.03260/0.98635 bearish swing on the EURSD daily time frame saw 61.8/78.6 Fib zonal retracement last week Monday and headed southwards on Tuesday. There was insignificant bullish price action throughout the week, and we may not see much northward directional momentum before further southward drive. However, we should be mindful of the fact that price action is within the 1.00810/0.99070 multi-year horizontal support zone (green) seen on the weekly time frame.

I may be wrong. Trade safe and prosper.

In my view, it is not "time" for EURUSD H4 to go up yet because not even M15 has completed a full down cycle yet. That said, it is overdue to complete it.
