Hola,

Hope you have a dope party.

DAX&GER30 seems to be at a very tempting price level at this point.
I traded indices about 5 years ago, this chart brought me back:

A bit low on cash and this seems very low risk about R:R 1:3.
I think you can guess where this is going, any thoughts?
Cheers.

Congratulations delta. It takes guts to double your position when your 800 pips x position down.

Do you have a view on the Dow from 32k?

thx. yes, i have:

1) in general: back to ath within this year.
2) in special: btd!
3) whenever dow dips till 30.000, do so!

i see dow now moving with good momentum towards 34.000. buy, buy buy! bought so heavy classical industrial values of dax. and added to dow components, too.

Got a little bit quiet in here. I want to change that.

Since the 10y yield raised decent, the vix got over 20 again and Europe was leading the way with falling prices i was looking for shorts today. Also i think the market was a little bit overbought due to a five week rally only going up. at some point profit taking before jackson hole sounds reasonable to me.

Lot of selling pressure, i didn't believe the upward move at open and tried to sell it down the way. Was successful, although my target was actually way lower to the low of the day (just like the FTSE which i hit), but i dont want to hold the positions into premarket US.

So either really good exit or let some pips behind....but i dont want to take the risk.

I did the exact same thing with the US market and it worked out just the same.

Will come back when we get closer to the market close to grab some more, lots of volatility in the market, which is really good for me.

So this morning was a very successful one. I didn't believe this rapid upward move in the European indices. Their were way to fast with no real fundamental data behind and also it happened before and right after the opening.

This marks always a nice opportunity to go reversal and bet on a of the opposite.

I really liked the ride, but the FTSE exit could have been better.

Hi guys I have a question, I don't know if this is adequate for this forum but couldn't find aything better. I have been backtesting my method on GER30 with good results but i trade mostly the 5 min, because of that I wanted to ask is GER30 reactive to any EUR news announcments or any other ones? Want to know so that I don't trade during the time there is too much slippage. Thanks for any answers .

Good start in the day and i think i could manage a good exit. Wanted to stay longer actually but didn't want to risk my profits.
Again the rapid upside move made me skeptical and the macro is also not looking good, so i could bank some points.

The same picture with FTSE MIB and CAC.
