Hey buddy, welcome to Forex Factory. Glad to see new faces around.

I was shorting EURUSD for months until today. I was frequently selling and closing since it was at 1.20s. I am buying EURUSD now. Yes gold will keep falling, i also have short positions on gold. According to my analysis EU should strengthen from now on, while gold is going down. Of course my analysis may be wrong, nothing is 100% right. Remember that gold and Euro are not the same, one of them can go up in value while the other is going down. World is going into a recession after all and Euro's value depends on rate hikes coming from the ECB. And even if they are a bit slow, they are still coming. So we can say that XAU/EUR will also go down.

I still think the 'leg' is maturing and starting to base. The latest down move (50 daily MA below 200 daily MA) is about a year old, and a rally is required in order to 'provide more fuel for the fire'.

IG sentiments are usually wrong lol.
EURUSD price action on the daily time frame turned sideways after a brief bullish retracement from the 0.99380 multi-year horizontal support (green). As the last two days saw the printing of top-tailed doji-like candlesticks, in the context of a weak bullish pushback, we may see some southward move in the early part of this week.

I may be wrong. Trade safe and prosper.
