hello,

i've tried to contact xaphod on his website but his captcha code verification doesn't work ! ( and impossible to PM him here)

so,

i'm using his stoch tape,
which work well but
i have a little problem and perhaps you'll can modify this one or redirect me to another indicator ( if xaphod could repair this one it would be yet better of course )


in fact when stoch signal line arrives to 100 and when the fast is also to 100 the bar is red/sell and it's the opposite when it's 0 and 0
the bar is blue for buying.

It's a real problem for me because i'm using it for mtf strategy ,
so when a box is not of the good color i must verify the others TF to see if it's because the value is at 100/0 or not
and i lose a lot of times to enter a trade because of that.

it's one of the most basic indicator i guess someone will can help me

Yes. However, there are threads here on platform tech for most of my current indicators and they can and should be used for support and questions regarding the respective indicators.

Sorry, I do not understand what you mean. Perhaps a screen shot with notes would be a better way to explain? If there is a fault with the indicator, I'll probably fix it if it is not too time consuming to do so. If you want it customized for you own use, probably not.

Edit:
Perhaps you can adjust the parameter settings to archive what you want:
Stoch_TapeMode=KoverD; // Mode: 0=Show K over D and overbought/oversold, 1=Show K Slope and overbought/oversold.
Stoch_Low=-1; // Low Level
Stoch_High=101; // High Level

i didn't want to be off topic on other threads, but txs, now i know ^^

i've thought to put 101 but it changes nothing,

at beginning i was thinking that you've put BUY if fast stoch > slow stoch
and so, when we arrive at 100 for the 2 stoch , condition is no more filled and the box turns red
but in some cases when the 2 stoch are at 100, the color is ok, and sometimes not,

so i don't understand how it's work to be honest,
hope you'll can explain to me ( because i'm using your indi since months so it would be great to finally understand ahah )

here is a screenshot of the "problem" ,
you can see at the red line, slow stoch reaches 100 and so, the box turns red,
but i would like it turns red at the white candle, 3 bars later when the fast stoch dives below slow stoch,
it seems more logical to me.

Looks like you need to change the StochMode parameter. You have it set to show the slope of the main line:
Stoch_TapeMode=KoverD; // Mode: KoverD=Show K over D and overbought/oversold, Slope=Show K Slope and overbought/oversold.

If you do not have that parameter, you should download the latest version from the 'Genesis Matrix Trading Tools' thread here in platform tech.

The firewall that was installed recently to thwart all the bots hammering the sites login page appears to have broken some of the functionality of the site. I have disabled it until I figure out why. As it's not really a business, there are technically no clients.
