Lagarde like Powell said rates will go up as necessary to bring inflation to target (around 2%) so be prepared, things are going to get only worst. Now it's just a question of who brings them up faster. The US has some head start.

Look at how many swing points (grey circles) are indicated on that chart. When there are so many points generated, did you consider that it its highly UNLIKELY to NOT have the "prediction" vertical fall on a future point within 1 bar on either side???

I don't rely on indicators, but indicators are just tools, nothing more ...... the important thing to note is that prices move in waves, price cycles and trends...

  1. when things are tight, you get good breakouts [ excitement ]
  2. when things spread / loose [ excitement vanishes ]

Hi Alex1056. The indicator you are looking at my charts is not for other programs, but I can tell you what to do. Go to your indicators, or search for "standard pivots" then attach on to a chart and choose from the settings: weekly for the daily chart and monthly for the weekly chart. Not all settings will be the same, but if, you play with the settings you will get almost the same image like me, because not all brokers have the same price feed, or hours of opening.

EURUSD price action is sideways on the daily time frame as it tackles the 1.02240/0.99856 long-term horizontal support zone (green) seen on the weekly time frame. The long-term technical pattern is bearish, but we are seeing a bullish pullback. This is a corrective phase which would give way to a southward rotation, perhaps, after a northward retesting of a value area such as the 1.03650 horizontal resistance (red).

I may be wrong. Trade safe and prosper.

Powell is just gonna keep raising rate despite what many of the bond traders expecting he might ease up. I don't see how inflation could subside hence Powell is going to remain hawkish. The ECB are not raising rates fast enough so I still think EUR/USD going sub-parity, most likely after the FMOC on Wednesday.

How can U.S. consumers and the U.S. government repay their record debt at rates of 4 - 5%? The Federal Reserve will bankrupt the USA at those rates and usher in the Great Reset.
