Next horrible Question currently on ECB Conference: How to close the spreads between Italy and Germany for example... (also known as how you want to buy bonds from Italy but not from Germany?) -

She is repeating only that TPI is for all countries. So if Germany has to be saved, it will be saved too - (but from who she is not talking about).

I think for EUR/USD it would be better to turn off her microphone.

Ouch, now she used the word "solidarity", drop 20 pips.

Lagarde wants to fight "disorderly market dynamics"??? So if the market says Italy has to pay more interest rates because they are broke we buy the bonds. That's it. Now the question comes about height of the interest rates in future!

The big fundamental Question for EUR/USD will be: How will you raise interest rates on USD Niveau to stop EUR/USD to drop WITHOUT destroying the economies of Germany, Austria, France and Netherlands and to keep Italy and Spain above the water???

Next, we simply have to watch potential sell pressure coming from 1.0198/1.0202 area!

One H4 candle close below this level is still required for this drop to continue... The caveat? Well we still have over 3 hours for this H4 candle to close... a lot of things can happen...

Now I can rest assured that the ECB will intervene in the euro. She cannot state it out loud but saying that it is a problem with inflation indeed leads me to believe that they will intervene and will do it with BOJ I think.

Ok, it's finally over (Lagarde speech) and EUR/USD goes up 10 pips - as expected.

Let's see if Ata's projection (1.0198/1.0202 area resistance now) will be broken upwards. I don't think so. Typical reverse situation with enough air to breathe from 1.0152 to 1.0200 after drop. I think buyers from ECB Rate Hike (1.0190 to 10240) try now to get their positions closed at 1.0190 - 1.0200 area. So Ata's 4 hour candle would be confirmed -> more potential down. Let's see.
