Dear developers anyone interested to create a tool(ideally indicator if possible) that assists in drawings to align the objects to candles OHLC , similar to tradingview's magnet mode?

I don't think there is such tool written before.

thanks ,but for rectangles it only has that snap effect on 2 opposite corners of rectangles so you cant draw it on a candle on left side of chart and extend it , the right side of rectangle snaps to other candles so it invalidates the zone.

So called "nanotradersignal" indicator is nothing but "Half trend" indicator originally

That is renamed of old "Half trend" indicator,that can possibly mislead at some locations
it is a free code since from long long ago
it is sold at various sites ranging from $ 10 to $ 999 -
it contains various names at various places - thanks all those morons renaming it,misleading and selling it to poor newbies

PS : posting the newest,accurate and reliable (in every sense) code

Right you are, and I already started writing before eess gave the link, so here's mine anyway, it handles more objects that aren't covered by the link.

Snap_to_OHLC_rect_hl_arr_txt_lbl
- input magnet in pixels
- will snap to closest ohlc within magnet
- handles rectangles(all points), all arrow types, horizontal lines, texts, labels

Thank you for the effort BlueRain and sorry for piling on but the dashboard just keeps printing the same signal on every pair. Your help is highly appreciated or maybe you can please include a time column to know when the signal occurred.

thanks jeanlouie , would you consider adding trend line support(ideally only the left handle to be magnetic) and also for rectangles to be able to extend them without invalidate the zone you still have to use the right corners can you please add something like this tool with only one vertical line on the right end of rectangle that lets you to extend without moving the original position of rectangle. https://www.mql5.com/en/market/produ...source=Unknown

Hello. Seems we can get almost any indicator or EA online these days thanks to some good work. However, I have yet to see a donchian channel EA.

Could be coded to enter long on break of previous highest for n bars with SL at lowest of the same bars with a reverse sell condition. Order to be placed at close of the breaking bar, not wick.

Any help would be appreciated.

Up Arrow = Green histo bar

nothing if no arrow so only a histo bar on creation of OB)

1 Green bar for each new up arrow

opposite for down arrow = Red histo bar

Hi everyone, I don't know if I'm in the right section. I am a novel of this forum ..... I have read that through ProRealTime it is possible to automatically program the various inputs of an indicator based on the color change: I have an indicator that changes color according to the trend, it is easy to program it in automatic that at each change comes into position? I loaded it on prorealtime but I don't understand how it is possible to dare the function that opens new positions when the color changes.

No, that is already handled by the terminal option for magnet sensitivity.
