trading Maximum of 3 trades a day makes you well-informed, positive mental status. Risk therefore is mitigated. Capital gain is satisfied.

True, but if anyone follow the candle pattern without the market context; then surely the success ratios will be below the 50%. Candlestick pattern & the PA trading isn’t the same thing!

It's possible to make any percentage daily. Even 100%. I have a long thread which covers some stuff.

You can make any percentage daily depending on your system/style. You can also lose that percentage.

It's easier for a small account to rake in higher percentages - either due to it being really small or the risks being higher. The latter may be automatic due to the account size - but it may also be due to high risk on the part of the individual - you know, it's a small account so don't care much.

One of the accounts I blew while learning had dropped down to $14. I took that up to $80+ in a few days. VERY high risk. High percentage returns.

If I have a $100 account and I make 1% per day - that's around $1 daily. That will increase as the account does.

If I have a $10,000 account and decide to make 1% - that's $100. The risk is less on the bigger account - the percentage is the same, but the dollar amount is more.

As an individual - you decide your risk. If you want to take high risks on your account then go ahead. Not advised - but you're free to do so. You'll move into the realm of gambling instead of trading IMO. You'll get high risks and high returns if you're lucky. You'll blow the account very quickly if you're not lucky. Spreads and spikes are not friendly things.

Had some time to trade this week and am getting better on demo. Wouldn't have the courage to trade this way with real money, but the practice is indispensable I think. If I can drop the fear when I eventually trade real account again ...
Anyway, it IS doable at least on demo to make at least 1 to 3% IMHO.

Actually, there is no certainty; so aiming a fixed target would be impossible! Sometimes, Forex market is very volatile but you can’t expect the same volatility in everyday! So, how can we have a fixed target when we have no idea on market’s nature? I do agree with you!

Are you sure its impossible ?
EURUSD average daily range ( 1000 ) minimum is 0.0070
Nobody is telling you shoud expect to make 2 x ADR but 10 % of daily range can be done

then if thats the case, withdraw while you have the 99%...
Or have two accounts one that trades in the direction of the 99% and the other that looks for the 1% since based on your assessment the 1% seems to be so good why waste time on the 99%. Isolate the 1% scenarios and milk the market.

Yup, I have learnt to withdraw profits. I never used to. But now I'm more consistent, for every $200 I make, I withdraw $100. This way I get paid regularly and the compounding affect still works

Good day to all. As a new member, it is my first post. I am a full time forex and crypto trader. I am experimenting an account with around 50$ to earn 5% daily profit. At present I am starting it with a demo account and will post its result on daily basis. I hope I am not posting in wrong thread. If it is forbidden to post here, please let me know, I will remove it immediately. Thank you. Here with I am sharing the screen shot of the demo account on which I am trying to earn daily 5% of previous day balance.

It's possible although a lot of people will say it is not possible.
I'm very surprised by all the people in this thread saying how possible it is to get 1% a day.

I just assume everyone in here must be billionaires or liars. Please excuse my bluntness.

there is no mention in post 1 of compounding..... someone with a 1000$ account would have to make 10$ a day..... sounds easy upfront, but your correct, even non-compounded, it's not....

1% per day might be within seeing distance but the lifestyle required to make it would never appeal to me..... too much like real work.....

minimum wage is more my speed.... really don't need to be a billionaire anytime soon....

please excuse my laziness....h

With all due respect, I do not believe that a trader should look at it a "per day", more like per month
It does not matter how good a system is there will be stretches that it will not perform because of
market conditions.
I have been trading for over 25 years and I had gambler trader friends that did not care so much about
there drawdown, illogical(cause if you aim for that be prepared to gamble) they cared only about the 1 % per day....
but 100% of them got hurt in the end.
I have not seen this happen ever(someone making 1% a day consistently), ever.
Look at the top traders on the planet, non
I would say if you can make 10% a month you are king of wall street
But what do I know....can't wait to see someone making 1% a day for a year straight....on a real account
Please do not show me a trade explorer that did it for a month or 2, when you gamble everything is
possible and on demo, but to do it for a year straight live good luck
If someone ever manages it, he will be one of a few, and we cannot use it as an example for every day traders
to pursue cause 99.99% will not ever even be in the same league, if they make 5% they should be super happy,
that would be 60% a year, 99% of hedge funds did not make that last year

Have I done it before? Yes. Have I lost money trying to "chase" this idea, Oh yeah.

My advice after 8 years; Look for good trades/setups.

With 1000 making 1% a day, you're a multi-millionaire in 5 years. With 30k initially, you're a millionaire in one and billionaire in 5 years. (Compounding, and if you're making 1% daily, why wouldn't you compound?!)

But yeah, making 1%/day consistently without any drawdowns is easy as long as you put in "real work" lol

Edit: Just to clarify, I think it probably has been done before as some others in this thread have said, but it doesn't work to scale and there there is a very high chance of drawdowns. I definitely agree with others to look at monthly rather than daily.
