Thanks buddy and I keep trying to help other traders make more pips without having to pay for a bogus trading course. People on our thread have some experience to succeed. This thread is not meant for newbies. Our thread is not about learning the basics of forex trading but it's about teaching a method to traders who are no longer beginners... but intermediate+ I guess.

Any newbies here... please go to www.babypips.com and take some time to learn about the forex market and how it's traded. It's important.

So do you recommend My FX book to analyze trade results? Have never used it but if it can help me...I am going to look into it this weekend

also can I ask what is the exit strategy/indicator you are using if trade is taking a really long time, sometimes I exit if I have 50 pip profit or for example its getting close to 9am, or if price is getting close to a supply/demand area, just wondering how others do it.

I was using flattened TDI but felt it was getting me out too early on some trades with small loss or BE, so now kind of waiting til it hits my hard SL which is 40 pips, or time (9am)
I read somewhere that MM stop out retail traders generally at 20-25 pips so I made my SL generously wide, something I have to take into consideration with risk.

Thank you for the Pepperstone video, I watched it, the 2 methods - lotto and insurance, so I think I may be the insurance style psychologically I like to get paid,
I find the Big E strategy very appealing, because when it works it works so beautifully, further I have to weed out my bad trades and get used to drawdowns

I use FX Blue to keep my trading journal. Reason is I trade TMS MEME baskets and with FXBlue, I can export my trade data and analyse the P&L of individual baskets and not individual trades. FXBlue supports more platforms other than MT4.

I appreciate your interest in my trading. I know my success triggers your painful memory of losing money and blowing account in the first 12 years of your trading journey, and still happening from time to time.

Hi Kenergy1,

I find myfxbook.com a very good trading performance analyzer.

It has a bigger community and public profiles.

I like the way it compiles my trades and present them in different ways useful for me for evaluation.

Besides the Risk of Ruin tool, you may find others valuable

I wanted a method that was simple, worked on all timeframes, simple rules, few indicators.... that when looking at my simple chart it just shouted out what I needed to do and developed a method that is 70-80%+ wins for me on a regular basis. It took over 2 years to develop this method. I worked hard... late nights and weekends to. I was so hungry for success.

Starting out you should be 60-65% successful. Within 1 to two months you should be 70-80% successful.. IF... you follow the simple rules and simple exits... 3-6 months... 85% successful. Don't complicate it... keep it simple. Buy your wheel barrow..

your Profit Factor and Standard Deviation is pathetic even that win rate 85%. That is the statistics of a newbie who do not understand system Expectancy.

show us again when you can achieve a Profit Factor >5.0 and Standard Deviation > $1,000.

he needs more than 10 years to achieve a Profit Factor above 5.0 and Standard Deviation > $1,000 starting with an account like Big E' $10,000.

what about you and your IMT system? what PF and SD have your achieved so far in 2022? Demo is okay since your admitted that you do not have $10,000 to trade a live account.

You don't have consistency in trading.

Develop your risk management and exercise discipline to stick to the rules.
Keep standard deviation reasonably low
