Itís not easy to keep yourself motivated especially when you are a newbie, and you lose more trades than you actually win. Still the feeling that I can free myself from the shackles of a 9-5 job keeps me motivated. There is no other career where you can make a lot of money and at the same time can be flexible in your job. I love traveling. I believe that this is the only job which can allow me to travel the world and comfortably pay my bills.
Trading is fun. You think Warren Buffett and Charlie Munger are not motivated?
The question is about newbies and not professional traders. Warren Buffett and Charlie Munger are not new traders. They have decades of successful experience and itís rare to lose motivation when you are good at something. Lack of motivation is often felt by beginners who are losing more than they are earning.

I normally keep a copy of all the fun and good day I had on my hard drive. Every time I fell, I dig them out and it always refreshes me and set me off to a better start.
I also spent a good amount of time on the road and discover things I might like which reminds me there are whole lot stuffs outside of realm of trading and reminds me if I keep it up, I be able to do so much more and earn so much freedom and choices in my life.https://www.forexfactory.com/thread/...her-day-in-the That would be my greatest motivation to keep me going knowing there will be setbacks taking on greater and greater challenges.
