Hi RobinHood,
In your experience, is RHO approval alone sufficient in a HTF. What do you use for HTF ın stock market?

What matters to me most is which side of the RoadMap price is on, and to only make trades in that direction AND then what the RobinHood Oscillator is telling me.

1. They are there to put the price action into a better perspective for me. Meaning, by using them, and with just a quick glance, I can very esily see how price is moving. In theory, I could just look at the ma's and not even need to see the candles, but I have no reason not to also use the candles. * Look at the two charts below.

2. They show me potential Crossover and Continuation Trades.

3. I am always "playing around" with different length and types of ma's. These ma's happen to be: the 4 ema - yellow - dotted line, the 9 ema - magenta - solid line, and the 14 ema - cyan - solid line. They seem to end up being my favorite settings if I was forced to choose just one group of ma's and their settings.

* Keep in mind, on TC2000 (which the image below is from) I do not have a Hull ma that changes colors like we do on MT4, that's why I am not using it on this platform.

I like the yellow line to be dotted because it's the ema that most closely follows price and by making it dotted, it pulls my eyes toward it better than it does being a solid line like the other ema's.

Yes, it certainly can be, but the ma's and the RoadMap are also very relevant to me on the HTF's.

If it's a Daily chart, the HTF is the Weekly chart.

If it's a 4 hr. chart, the HTF is the Daily chart.

If it's a 1 hr. chart, the HTF is the 4 hr. chart.

If it's a 15 min. chart, the HTF is the 1 hr. chart.

If it's a 5 min. chart, the HTF is the 15 min. chart.

If it's a 1 min. chart, the HTF is the 5 min. chart.

The 4 ema - yellow - dotted line, the 9 ema - magenta - solid line, and the 14 ema - cyan - solid line.

* Sometimes I use the 4 ema, -1, but there's not that much difference between the 4 ema and the 4 ema, -1.

Here's something that I have been playing around with lately if anyone is interested.

I am using 3 simple moving averages. They are:

4 sma, -1, yellow dotted line
4 sma, 0, magenta solid line
4 sma, +1, blue solid line

I have also tried sma's: 5, 6, 7, and 8, and each one has it's merits.

I am using sma's here because they are smoother than the ema's, which I like better in this instance.

What I like about it is that it shows you very well when the price starts going sideways, and it defines trends pretty well. But the jury is still out as it also has some weaknesses too. They can chop you up during short trends that swing back and forth.

Yes. But, there's nothing magical about these ema settings, they're just the ones that I tend to most often settle on.

Is this how you should enter and exit or should I trail my stop two bars back?
Also, the reason I don't use roadmap is because it confuses me quite a bit (maybe I'm not used to it yet)

I have another question.

how do you identify pullbacks/continuation trades?

With TMMS could be easier can you give us and advice with RHO?

There is no one perfect way to enter or exit, but what you are doing is one way. I tend to trail my stop 1 or 2 bars back...it depends on the length of the bars.

Personally, I like both the yellow and blue RSO histograms to be above 0 for long trades before I enter, but I sometimes jump the gun. Sometimes it pays off and sometimes it doesn't.

BTW, if the Roadmap is confusing, you could just put a 34 ema line on the chart and use that instead.

Inside your red boxes, the Ma's, the TMMS and the RSO all show Continuation Trades if you look closely, they all just do it 3 different ways. The first red box is the more perfect example vs. the second red box.

I don't have more any advice for the the RSO, just study what it does until you understand it, and if not, you don't actually need it on MT4 because the TMMS does basically the same thing.

I created the RSO for stock trading because I didn't have the TMMS on the TC2000 trading platform.

I decided to do a six months project based on the methods RobinHood presented (and hopefully will continue to share) and so I created a trading journal because I don't want to clutter this thread with that.

If you want to have a look here it is:

RH hope you don't mind but if you do let me know.

You wrote that you're not using the hull moving average on TC2000 because it doesn't change color like the MT4 one - maybe you will like this:
