That is my belief, and so far it is playing out. We had bad job number for US today. Price started down then went up. I think we have the daily high in, and tonight (EST) we will begin the trip down during Asian market and finally have our retracement.

In my memory of the previous interventions of the BOJ, and there were several 9, 10 years ago, they always happened in the Asian session.

P.S. and always unsuccessful because the price returned to the previous level the next day, but at least they cause fear and slow down the decline.

The pair has been heading towards the North by obeying a trendline. The price consolidated around the trendline's support. A bullish breakout above the last resistance may push the price towards the North further.

I am bullish into FOMC. This weekend Bitcoin took a rip south. 20K looks very likely. DXY chart on it's own does not look done nor bearish in any way, so i see the pairs as faking any resistance.
