Its suicidal to ignore the Daily calendar news releases, except if, you have a deeper knowledge of what is happening in the market from other sources and research.

Today FOMC is the main event. I expect choppy market conditions and not the same upside trend like, two days before.

because price movement in ascending channel (this condition means "bears take control the market") ..... up price movement is not a up trend (fake trend)

I may be asking again, tomorrow, May 26th 2022 EUR (only French and German) is on Holiday, US not on holiday is it advisable to trade? Really unsure if we should take the risk. Can someone advise?

Man, hi. Why do you think you should not trade on a holiday.....???????

You trade when you understand where the market is headed. If you don't you do not trade. The holidays is something irrelevant .

"On holiday" and "operations suspended" are not the same thing. There will be some "clerks" on the job on France and Germany to ensure the folks at trading institutions in other countries will be able to continue to trade euros.

My opinion on the matter.

Holidays are on calendar to inform you that there is a greater chance of less market volatility.

When I tried forex first time all my strategies had less good results when holidays happened on both European and US session, but better when Europe only was closed.

US is where more volatility comes in the market, because both (Eu & US) are open

I show that you trade momentum, for me it is wiser to trade only the hours with volatility over the average.

How many volatility could be that? It depends on your systems results. Better try different methods and play with the tools you find, so you can learn.

Don't forget to learn ECB news today .... The data that ECB displays as a reason why ECB still requires correction / continuation down trend for EURUSD today .... In the London Open session the price actually dropped ... the question in the head was answered with this news release
