Hi radityo, It's always interesting for me following people doing studies on martingales. I have done a lot of work myself on this subject and still working on it and if you allow me, I would like to share my findings, maybe they will be useful for you too. 1. Trading from London open to NY close is the right way to go at least for EUR/USD/GBP. 2. You should maybe consider not allowing new trades during NY news hours. 3. If I have understood, your EA makes symmetric trades eg. 20 pip TP, 20 pip SL You should consider making it asymmetric eg. 15...

I'm not using OP's standard settings. But the crux of the idea remains the same - Using a pre-determined range and stubbornly holding on till it's in profit. And implement a group trailing stop concept to capitalize on price movements in favourable directions. There are ways to cut down on the risk but at the end of the day a martingale is still a martingale. I wouldn't recommend using this on live because of the high level of risk involved. But for the sake of discussion, assuming that you have the risk appetite and sufficient capital to withstand the drawdowns, it can be a thrilling experience.

OK, just to settle in on what's going on with Tunnel Martingale from the last update. For those who don't follow, let's get a refresher. Tunnel Martingale basically consist of 2 main things: Ceiling, Floor. Both are the price line which guards if the price goes towards past Ceiling, it will put pending order on the Floor 2 times lot size of the previous (Ceiling). If this pending order gets executed, it will then again add pending order on the Ceiling 2 times lot size if the Floor. Until then it breaks out, (in example 0.16 of the lot size), it...

its a very difficult decision, sell DD is 40 and buy DD is 80,if i close sell and it goes down,i will lose the account,so i think using ict MTf strategy,i scalp with high lots and keep closing losing trades with profitable trades and save the account, what do u think?

In my humble opinion..
if so, the first thing you do is closed all your short positions, and let your long position last until 78.00, currently the bullish movement is still valid until that level has not been reached,
However.. if you want back to go short for hedging, the bearish order block zone the red rectangle that I marked is a nice place to entrypoint ( opportunity to take profits when sideway occurs potential wide range from peak of wave3 to wave4 ) Good luck to you.

I've uploaded v1.03. A few changes: Start by Support and Resistance is supported now. But in the middle of testing (Support and Resistance is never reached since Friday and today). Close by Fixed Points is supported as well. Moved the file hosting to Dropbox. I hope y'all able to download.

{quote} I do agree martingale has its risk. But isn't it the same concept with other trading systems as well? Just think of this, someone posted what claimed to be a winning strategy, then another too with another strategy, but all of these I found 1 thing in common. They have entry requirements. If not followed, then the strategy won't work. The funny part is that most of us ignore the fact that martingale does require entry requirements. Am I right? When I walk past MRT or public transport and sees the advertisement about investing in this, that,...

You are so right. People think about Martingale systems, that they can just take a trade and then the system send some profit. I se it the other way round. Take only winning trades and use Martingale if the trade turns into a looser.

If you do your very best to find the perfect setup for the trade, then Martingale don't even have to be executed. You get the profit without fighting for it and without including the Martingale risk of very high losses. So use your best entry tactic or entry robot to take the trades. Martingale will then only be effectuated at the times where your trade goes into a loss.
Read post #1 !! Then read it again 10 more times before you ask.

You're actually too late.. but yes, to open your locked positions first closed all buy to escape from the accident before, don't do anything after that ( to keep your margin still alive )

if the price is getting higher, add more short with the same volume as on your short bottom at the level 88.6% ( RN 86.25 to 87.00 ) and that is your last chance to go short, and if the price managed to go down you can exit all out together on the 61.8% zone ( RN 82.50 ) because the price need some pullback to continue the bull trend.

However, if this scenarios fails to work, you should be prepared to blow your account.. the price will continues higher to break-out the previous 3rd wave

Good luck friend
