I have not seen a lot of trade opportunities this week using Template 1 in 4Hr Forex, especially when respecting the daily trend.
Anybody else also have this problem this week?

A lot of us rely on TV. It will be great if we can make the RHO match correctly on TV. Thanks for your effort.

Hey,

For those who are interested here is an indicator with button to get a coloured High / Low Channel.
You can set alert / change the candle color if you need.

Have a nice day.

My approach is a simple system, without unnecessary indicators. We are trading SPY 500 . A simple example. M10 and M1

another example . We hold the position on M1 until the first red candle . We put the stop under at least 1 of the previous candle on M1. The risk-profit ratio is 1:3 and higher

Hi
That looks really interesting. What indicator do you use and bars are normal candlestick?
Thanks
Malcolm

bars + Heiken Ashi indicator on MT5 and two timeframes M10, we look at the main direction of movement, and on M1 we look for an entry point.
Simple = effective!

Hi faktmany,
based on your marking on the 10 min chart, it looks like you start taking setups on M1, before M10 HA candle changes color and close?

Only after the candle closes on M10 do I start looking at M1 . In both cases , the RSI should be above 50% for purchase , and below 50 % for sale . The previous picture is a good example
Here is another example

Thanks for posting your ideas.

I think the RSO (Robinhood Oscillator) very closely mimics the combination of the RSI 14 and the Stoch 8,3,3, BUT I also think that the RSO Magenta Line is much smoother than the RSI 8. Take a look...

For those of you who are using TC2000, I have found a way (that to me) the RSO is more visually pleasing than the way I originally posted it (with 2 lines).

The problem that I was having is that I could not always definitively tell when the magenta line was above or below the 0 line.

Now I definitively can.

I got very good with this method, 5 green out of 6 today. But man do i suck at getting out. My problem is i can't be monitoring it 24/7 so i usually just do SL and TP (simetric), most of the time i leave money in the table. On the other side i'm leaving with 3, 4 and 5% profit and should probably just be happy.
I'm just doing M15 trades (i look at H1, H4, M30 for the perfect setup) but i time the ins and outs in M15. I don't think i have the discipline, to follow higher trends, yet.

Any tips to make the process of getting out more polished?
