Running the risk of saying something stupid, the bottom part is just a better representation of the upper part right? the white dotted line in the bottom part represents the blue line on the upper part right?
The RH indicators work like EMA's?

Seems simple enough to follow. Are you ready to release them?

Hello Guys,

First of all I want to say thanks to everyone specially to RobinHood to share all your knowledge.

I have been trading for years and until today I can't be profitable (luckily i have only lost small amounts of money, money for my coffee). But I have read this forum and this thread for months and I think I'm very close to be profitable (I hope )

I decided to make this post because I want to confirm with you the oscillators to use. I did not find them on TV and tried to replicate them.

First the TMMS oscillator

I saw that RobinHood recently shared RHO oscillator is also easy, could you take a look at it and see if it is displayed correctly?

{quote} Welcome! Ideally, you should have entered on the open one bar back from the last bar on your chart. Doing that would have reduced your risk by quite a bit, and would have given you a greater profit should the trade go on to win.

Thank you for your response. I think I missed the earlier entry.
Can you tell me whatb you think about this possible Buy Setup on AUD/USD. It seems to be against the overall Trend, but there is a bullish divergence. Would you enter immediately or wait until the second blue bar has closed (because the Hma has only just turned green)
Or would you not enter at all.

Thank you very much.

I think so.

the white dotted line in the bottom part represents the blue line on the upper part right?

No, not that I am aware of.

The RH indicators work like EMA's?

Yes, they are very similar.

Are you ready to release them?

I already did release them so to speak in Post # 7887, here's what I wrote, but also read the part in red.

Lower Window:

I named this the "RobinHood Oscillator" (abbreviated "RHO"). TC2000 is the only trading platform that I have been able to create this indicator on,
so I don't have it for MT4....YET.

7. RH7 = MACD 6 & 10, dotted line, yellow
8. RH8 = MACD 11 & 13, solid line, magenta

Warning: If you try to re-create this oscillator in MT4 using the MACD, it will not turn out correctly, at least it didn't for me.

I think that if you check the Daily chart, you will likely see that while there is always the chance of your trade winning (on the 4 hr.), the odds are not very good, so personally I would not take the trade by going against the very clear down trend on the Daily chart.

if RH allows me ,i would like to say that this is a TREND FOLLOWING SYSTEM.So the 4H must come to an agreement with the D1.Also the 5m or 1m plays major role.
Reversals and countertrend are dangerous and you dont need them yet.

This indicator is big help.Read the first post (1) at list 5 times. With everything on your chart. Then post here a lot .MAKE A LOT OF MISTAKES (only on demo account).Try the money managment you like more, until you find the more profitable for you. Then make more mistakes and continued in this way for1- 2 months.Maybe less. You depend on how much time ou have
Backtest alot and watch how your indicators behave.Backtest only the time of the day that you are going to trade.Manually...
Is not that difficult..Dont listen to nosayers..You will see the light very soon.

In case it helps, heres how I managed to create the RH oscillator in TV. I'm pretty sure it's identical to the original. FYI the RSI indicator is only there as an easy way to place a zero line, everything is hidden for the indicator itself.

I have been playing around with TC2000 also, on Robinhood's recommendation but its taking some time to get to grips with.

I like TV (TradingView). I have it. I use it. But, I only use it just to trade one mechanical trading system that is only programmed on there. I just prefer TC2000 for everything else pertaining to stocks.

I would use it too if I was you now that you've been able to successfully recreate it there.

You are right, just need "move to" same panel and "pin to scale" All indicators.

But I´m putting all indicators in same code for people who use free version and can not use to many indicators.

Let me clean the code and I'll share.

Good, thanks. The TV guys will really appreciate that I'm sure.

I just recreated it on TV also. It was trying to remember the "pin to scale" part that had me baffled as to how to do it. I don't use TV day in and day out so it's hard to remember how to do all these things when you have 5 trading platforms like I do.

It's a compelling argument. But not on every stock, and that's okay, just trade the stocks that do mostly adhere to the Roadmap...on the right time frames.

How about Amazon...Weekly? This is why looking at higher time frames is so important.

I think i solved all my problems.

I follow the rules no exceptions, i only enter when i see a signal on H1, then i go to M1 and wait for it to go my way. I use the alerts. I imediately put a SL about 2 candles back or where i consider it would be a reversal.
This gives more security, even if it's still possible to revert in a short time in H1, but it's more unlikely.
I also imediately put a TP of about 1,5%. Sure i won't get rich quick but i see green in almost all my trades, the few that go wrong make little difference in the overall profit.

I don't get as much profit as before on some trades but i also don't make the previous mistakes of letting a trade go out of control hoping it reverts my way.

Next step is starting to use traling stop loss, see how that goes.

I really thing this is a great method for people that don't have experience to gain more confidence.

PS: i don't do this full time and can't be watching it all the time, or i would possibly do things differently.

How would you handle this setup on Sell EUR/GBP.
D1 timeframe shows an up trend but W1 shows down trend.

Thank you for your help.

The Daily chart is very erratic, based on that alone I would not take any 4 hr. trades on it right now. BUT, if I had to guess, it looks like a pull-back and will most likely continue to the upside. But I don't trade based on guessing.
