Success is wonderful and I give credit where credit is due. Good job!

However I don't think you've driven anyone away. They're all waiting for you to fail and will pounce again reminding you of these types of posts. Nothing wrong with a smidge of humbleness.

One other fact is this: EUR/USD, GBP/USD, AUD/USD and others have essentially been "wake up and sell" markets. Little skill involved. Those that have been trying to catch the falling knife have been stuck frequently. When and if things get back to "normal" with more frequent ranging markets then both fundies and techies will be tested.

Yes! Celebrate! But be thankful and yes a bit humble.

Actually, by bragging, you are giving people a reason to start trouble with you. Don't go down that path. I don't want to have to put you on ignore, but if you are going to post comments like that, then that is what I will do. What makes it worse is instead of manning up and accepting the truth about your bragging, you are now trying to make it look like I am doing something wrong by calling you out on it. Being a man means you sometimes have to swallow your pride and accept honest feedback.

Yes there's been a bit of bragging. So what!. Let it be.

Nobody really cares if you put them on your ignore list. They'll just put you on there ignore list. It really means nothing.

Nordling has something many here don't. He posts live charts with live trades on a live account and has proof to back it up. I think that's more than you have truth be told.

Braggers often eat it when things go awry and I suggest we wait for that if it happens. For now let's wish well upon all who have shown success and that it will continue. If it does then we should learn from them. If it doesn't it will be another lesson hard learned. Time will tell.

Well thank you. I wasn't expecting that.

I know they are waiting for me to fail. And i am no genius, i failed two months ago. The thing is i can manage to bounce back. Otherwise we all fail like everybody else does.

Yes, being humble is important. I actually am to my friends, i know 1k dollars doesn't mean anything to anyone etc. Just an iphone money. Pips matter though.

I have few words to those who are waiting for me to fail though; if they were focusing on their account more than mine, they would beat my performance way more easily. My loss won't get them anywhere, only their success will.

And i disagree with you, there is a lot of skill involved. Predicting a move before the fact and getting hundreds of pips is a difficult one. Nothing is free in these wild markets.

We all get wild in these markets though. Lots of competition, stress involved. That's why we have the toughest fights in trading forums like this.

Don't sell yourself short even on a small account. If you can make money on a small account you can make money on a larger account. But things change when you're trading standard lots. Unrealized losses on smaller accounts are often viewed as non threatening. Once you start trading standard lots holding those losses takes on a whole new meaning.

The market environment is what it is. It's being going down relentlessly. If you flipped a coin and it said go short you made money. That's just a fact. But it wasn't rocket science to get short in the first place.

If I'm not correct you seemed to have nearly double your account or somewhat close to that. Most are not be able to do that consistently and actually most including myself do not try to achieve that kind of return because the risk is in fact too high and will usually result in catastrophe.

If in fact your strategy is as this last couple of months suggests then it will continue. In fact if you are able to continue this return you will be retiring very soon. Time will tell. Everyone is now watching and waiting.

Just to point out one thing…if your intention for sharing this is to pat yourself on the back for your recovery from blowing up, then that’s totally fine. You’ll find a lot of people giving you kudos and encouraging you to keep it going. If the intention is to stick it to old enemies, then that’s the wrong path to go down. It just invites animosity and prolongs the bad blood, so it’s better to just forget that shit and focus on you and “mind your own business”.

Like Winston said, being humble is important. One thing I learned from a weight loss coach is to remember the pain of when you were fat. Remember the humiliation, so you don’t go back there. Translate that over to the trading world and it’s about remembering the pain of getting wiped out. Be proud of yourself, but don’t get too full of yourself.

Wise words, i agree with you except the flipping a coin part

I will gear down a bit, i am not planning to use more than 10 leverage from now on. I will make my experiments with demo instead of live I also learned that timing is everything, guessing the direction right is not enough on it's own. So i think i won't be blowing this account but who knows? Time will tell.

Thanks a lot bud You are right, gotta stay humble and professional. I guess i get too excited since i am the only 21 year old here haha

Great lessons learned from my mistakes and failures. My goal will be not repeating them again but i am sure even after 4 years of trading there are still mistakes to be made and new unexpected failures to go through. These are what makes the life fun and exciting!

Well, it is looking more and more like we could be seeing lower prices. This bear market has been brutal! FYI, USD is in the process of breaking through a major supply zone.

Your links don't go anywhere but that's ok. Sharing "ideas" is fine. One need not share with a "live" account but one should anticipate the responses that merely sharing with little else might garner. Let me put it this way:

1. Those who share positive and negative results with live accounts will likely get praise for their wins and respectful regrets when they lose. These individuals are willing to put up real money and show their wins and losses. If they are in fact overly braggadocio about their wins then when they lose they can expect otherwise. But overall traders with live accounts usually get more respect than those with anything less. Respect is after all earned from results. Not just talk.

2. Those who share positive and negative results with demo accounts unfortunately will often obtain ridicule unless they are in a thread where demo is accepted. Here in this thread demo is likely to obtain ridicule. However it is better than nothing. Posting a record of profit even on a demo can be respectful. It is also better than just talk.

3. Those who share multiple trades at or before the trade even without a demo or live account can still garner respect. However such individuals must be meticulous about "calling" trades at or before the trade to obtain such respect. Anything else will be viewed as hindsight. Even so these individuals will likely be criticized for not having a live account.

4. Now we come to the "talkers". These are individuals who post comments often with little or no charts. When they post charts they are merely analysis and no one cares....No trades, demo or otherwise. They get upset because no one shows them respect because they don't deserve it. Why? No trades...demo or live. Just analysis that is often quite in hindsight. They also are quick to judge and criticize others including their methods but rarely if every show anything of substance regarding their own trading.

There you have it. Respect is earned not deserved. In trading respect comes from showing results. Nothing else.
