Elections in France are an event risk for the EUR pairs this weekend. I still expect any gap up to be sold on Monday.

TBH, regardless who wins in French election, EUR/USD is meant to go down. European energy crisis will sustain huge negative pressure for the pair. The only difference, Le Pen means disaster to European societies, so much larger drop. Macron means more stability.

Either way, Germany and France must start relying back on their nuclear power, which in some cases in short term is impossible. Possible solution LNG from Netherlands and Norway, but before this happens watch some happy pips south from here.

The only possible negative option for USD is inflation getting out of control, but Powell is already pushing breaks. In the meantime, past FED chair Yellen is strongly advising Europe to not 100% ban oil imports from Russia, otherwise it will cause huge negative turbulence in the markets. No full ban suits Germany, which cannot allow themselves to cut imports. Current German economy and wellbeing almost exclusively depends on Russian imports, this “party” has been going on for past 50yrs(!). Now they are at a huge choke point. Some interesting rebalancing in the making.

Use high and lows for your entries and don't hurry up to gain big % on your trades, have patience, the best trades are hard to find and take time to develop.

With only 2-5 trades per year you could make serious money. Thiink forex as a future investement.

I can show to you many entries with very small risk (5-15 pips) that can make much more times the risk. The trick is to refine your entries at small timeframes > 4H & 1H after a good retrace on bigger - D1, W1 and sometimes M.
