Decided to enter on the M5 based on the H1 uptrend.
The control chart was M15 - meaning I would only exit when the oscillator gives an opposite signal - but closed at 2R because I couldn't monitor the trade anymore.

Try this ind's might keep you in the sadle longer.

Attach the Signal arrow first then drop the Sigal Histo alert on top of it.

Settings standard - Signal arrow adjust the arrow size if needed.

Yep normally it will indicate change of trend - with change in colour - but it not as sensitive and jumpy as other indies.

Before taking a trade I first look at - then look at sotch !

Let me know if it works for you. Drop it on the chart and just get the feel for it.

The age old question of is it ranging or not. I have battled with this one for years and have come to the conclusion that with this system we really need an asset that is trending. i.e lower lows and lower highs. Here's an example in the picture. My moving average 89 SMA gets broken and retested twice. I took the trade on the second retest probably because I missed the first. Trail stop took me out at the bottom of the swing. You will find lots of example like this on the charts any TF. I also use a 200 SMA as the same happens there too and also gives me the trade direction I should be taking. Break of resistance/support and retest.
