You are an idiot if you think what you see in FED's actions has anything to do with trading.
Long term the direction was planned years ago probably, medium term was planned for months, short term for weeks.
The moment you even dream about any news/report they are already way ahead of you, and they will either be ready and cause a big move wich happens quite rarely, or they will just do their normal business wich his to position themselves and continue to accumulate their positions.
This market can go much further down that what you think while their intentions still remain to go up in the long term.
Fundamental traders don't have a chance, because if you don't have any idea of where to buy or sell and trust just in news/reports you are just guessing.
These markets are not random as many people like to tell, so you either know good places to position yourself and what their medium/long term intentions are, or you don't have a chance.

No mate you are the idiot. Last time we argued about the direction of EU, i won. You were long back in 1.16 Since that day this parity have seen 1.08s, you were 800 pips wrong but still calling me dumb

Fundamentals are already accounted for on the chart. Unless we get a massive change in the news data numbers or an even which the
market total was not expecting, then this might shake the market immediately.

Best thing to do is to ignore the fundamentals, and if anything big happens with the news data, then just stay out for a week.

This technique will save you the headache of looking at the fundamentals and just solely focus on your chart technical analysis

Johnny with a whimpered voice yells "go for help". Lassie runs for miles across countless meadows, to get Uncle Buck. Uncle Buck plowing the the field in his new Ford 8 end tractor doesn't hear Lassie's bark.

Reminds me of the brainiac and the outhouse.

Brainiac and his buddy Spacecadet were relating some of their money woes. Brainic tells Spacecadet a recent misadventure.

Brainiac : "I had got me some money an put in my shirt pocket. I had to head to the outhouse for the usual business. When I finished, I was shoveling some lime into the pit, a $20 bill falls in. Oh no!! What to do??"

Spacecadet: "Oh, man! Twenty bucks!! It's a shame you had to lose that good beer money!"

Brainiac: "What you talking about?? Do I look like some kinda fool? I got that twenty bucks back, for sure!"

Spacecadet: "WHAT? How did you do it? You wouldn't jump into the pit for twenty bucks, would you??"

But not below the key support at 1.08335.. Close June below 1.08335 and its open for more drop. .. 1.0711 may be pressured with a large close below 1.0835. It can wick below these and end up closing above. That's a rejection. Like your prom date slapping you in the face. But with perseverance you mange to take her friend home. So its a win win. As long as 1208.9 holds. I shoot for 1.0064. R/R wise 1.064 has more reward. Slight tweaking may be need, (different brokers)

I didn't say that i don't know how to trade. I said that i made some serious mistakes. It's ok, that money is nothing that i can't put back. Not a big loss. I am also 21 y.o so i have plenty of time.

I have acknowledged & studied my mistakes and doing alright now.

You better focus on your trading instead of mine. My wins/losses won't give you anything.

If you have noticed, i always talk about my wins and losses. I post my trades. I don't stalk others. That would be a very loser thing to do.

Period. I won't argue with you further. Wasting time with you makes me look stupid.

Maybe there will be another small EUR rally next week based on this headline, but I expect it to be sold. 1.13 could be the top of the rally.

At the moment, still looks bearish to me.
Some Line/pattern breaks north on the weekly would cause a rethink.

What happened to this thread?

It's become a total shit-show again. We had some great discussions all week until tibor showed his face and began antagonizing everyone. Hopefully Twee does something about him, it's become more than annoying now.

Regarding the never-ending debate between technical vs fundamental, I've always been of the view that fundamentals decide the overall bias/direction in the bigger picture, while technicals are what deliver the price in that direction. That view has never changed. Price targets liquidity and moves between supply/demand as start/stop/continuation zones. It's really that simple.

While I think fundamentals are very important as the backdrop and the bias that feeds the higher timeframes, one doesn't need to micromanage the news, as most fundamental events are priced in on the lower timeframes. That being said, fundamentals obviously play the dominant role when there's unexpected and spontaneous news. Let's say Mt. Rainier erupts tomorrow and wipes out the Seattle/Tacoma area...I don't care what the charts say, the USD will be hurt by it, at least in the intermediate term. But let's say the Yellowstone Caldera erupts and half of the United States is under a six inches of soot, and the country suddenly stops working...then yeah, technicals won't mean shit then. The big banks will dump the USD like it never existed.

Regarding current EU, the only fundamental event I place high importance on happened in June of 2021 where they talked about tapering and announced their intention of raising interest rates this year. That's enough for me to know this pair is bearish, and has been since then. So my overall bias is bearish...to about 1.06. There's an unmitigated portion of a daily demand zone between 0600-0630 that I believe is the target. Maybe not this upcoming week, but possibly this month. I can see it being hit most likely in the form of a liquidity grab, (candle with a very long wick).

Let's see what happens.

Folks are picking fights out of nowhere now. I think if a moderator stepped in now, it'd be an appropriate time. Honestly the fundamental vs technical argument is so ridiculously tired out. I'm barely 6 months into my live trading learning and even I know that that argument is 100% a waste of time. Most traders I speak with, winning/losing/breaking even, use varying degrees of both depending on the situation. Even the so-called "fundamentalists" in this thread use TA.

Anyway, the arguments in this thread seem to escalate after major moves in the market. Connect the dots

The price stoped some pips above 20 bollinger upper band at the 50 daily ma and droped back at the monthly pivot and above 20 daily ma.

I am waiting for a break below 1.1000 this week, or a rise above the last resistance level that could lead the price around the 100 daily ma where the next selling opportunity is located for me (see image up arrow).

News will play a role too and FF calendar is good for this job.

This is becouse here is no thread starter or admin who keeping place cleen like in EU only Ata. This is why I No posting here anymore, here is all but not tradings views, cheers!
