IMT is multi-timeframe analysis.
Use any indicator that you fancy and apply it at least 3 times to a chart with the period set at some multiple that you find useful.

There is a "control" TF that sets the preferred trade direction for making trend continuations.
There is a "focus" TF that is running a retracement.
Both the control and focus TFs change dynamically as price changes through time.

The focus TF tends to move upward through the TFs. However, when a failure occurs, the focus reverts to M1 and the upward progression restarts.

You can get some idea if you check some of my posts. For example, I said and displayed a while back that EURUSD is in a down bias according to Y3 TF, and that every TF below it needs to make a rally and then down continuation. You can see currently that the up bias is the D2 running up and likely going to take the W1 up.

2. There are millions of strategies out there. We all tried dozens and even hundreds of indicators, systems etc. when we were newbies but it is impossible to test and master every indicator & system. It is just a big waste of time and money.
